Might as well get in game shape. It's getting to be big beer season anyways

"A word to our faithful fans... unlike prior releases, we did not produce as much SLOambic so there will NOT be any bottles headed to the brewery in Paso Robles next week. We apologize for this but that's the beauty of sour beer, they have a mind of their own."

I didn't get tickets to the event on the 15th but I've been hopeful that there will be some leftover SLOambic bottles at Barrelworks on Sunday. Guess I'll have to play it by ear.

I'm curious as to how many tickets of this were offered up. Really seems like it sold out fast. Got my 2 tickets, so hell to the yeah on doing every liberation this year.

    Come to me, SLOambic!

Had it this weekend at The Festival in LA. FW/Barrelworks accidently put a keg in the shipment and tapped it on Saturday. It is a WONDERFUL beer. Just hoping I can get my hands on some either thru trade or my buddy who works for FW. ISO

I just received this email from Barrelworks:

    Friends -

The day is almost here and we hope you're as excited as we are! We truly are goin' all out on Saturday and will be pouring some incredibly rare, incredibly delicious beers for you. Did someone say "Sour Cherry Merkin"? You betcha we did!

As with previous Liberations, we ask that you respect us and do not consume any outside alcohol on our property. Unfortunately due to legalities, bottleshare are not permitted so any opened alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and your entrance into Barrelworks will be jeapordized. But hey, we've got plenty of beer inside for you, we don't think you'll be disappointed!

Any questions? Email us. We look forward to celebrating with you all on Saturday!

    Cheers,

    The Barrelworks Crew

:grinning: Based on Krieky Bones, I believe that FW can do absolute magic with cherries. And with Merkin? Did I mention, :grinning:

Yes, they have a master list. Alternatively you can use the event brite app on smart phones and tablets for the electronic tickets.

Couldn't find that shirt, so I'm in my red Sante shirt. Offer still applies to first to come up to me and say hello

8 weeks ago sourjim posted on his Instagram a photo of a barrel named "Sour James and the Feral Peach". Anybody have any info on this one?

Time for the obligatory follow up question- anyone who attended today's event know if there will be SLO bottles for sale to the public at Barrelworks tomorrow?

Back home now to report. Everything I tried was great today...got to try all the awesome variants on the tap in the back next to the collab. SLOambic is strong and I'm pleasantly surprised by El Gourdo! My fave had to be Drupe' Bones, absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough about what Jim, Jeffers and the whole team are doing at Barrelworks...they are World-class and I'm sticking to it.
