Allagash Farm to Face?

I was quoted $42 for a bottle at a store. I asked and double checked and even had it scanned to be sure. Yup $42. I didnt buy it.

 

Any CT sightings yet?

 

That's absolutely CRIMINAL.

 

Damn, I think it costs the store like $10 a bottle. Should be $12-$15, but I see places do $20 for these Allagash releases.

Does anyone know what bottles are available at the brewery? Going this week and was curious. I couldn't find it listed anywhere

 

I always call them before I stop in. They will give you an instant update on what's available and numbers.

 

I saw that Julio's got this in about a week ago. Safe to assume it's gone by now?

Even with the one bottle limit Julio's was out Same Day - Within a few hours of posting it's arrival.

 

Anyone know of any Farm to Face or Nancy bottles still kicking around Eastern MA/Greater Boston?

 

Blanchards in Allston still had Nancy last time I went. I know another spot that still has two FTF but I'm planning on scooping those up.

 

I always wonder the point of posts like this? Not trying to rile up or offend anybody. But if you're not going to reveal anything, wouldn't it be better not mentioning it altogether?

 

Don't mean to sound cool or anything. Just meant it as a way of saying - there are still some Farm to Face around. If my spot has a couple there has to be other spots that have them.

 

Was at allagash today, plenty of farm to face still, $15 per, limit 2

 

that's interesting to me. Why is it more expensive at the brewery than it is at every store I managed to buy it at?

 

There is some behind the counter at Curtis Liquors in Cohasset, MA and some on the shelf at Ralph's Wine & Spirits in Hingham, MA.

Nancy is probably the best beer I have had from Allagash tbh.
