I did not, but I only got 2 bites initially. @PA-Michigander offered to pick up multiples but I don't know if between he and I we were looking to get 10 ourselves.

 

True! I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I haven't heard of any complaints.

 

Gotcha. I appreciate the initial offer. If you do wind up "coming into" quantity, I'd still be happy to send for a few (2-3). No worries if you don't though. Watching all the good beer that is flying back and forth, I imagine that I will eventually wind up in a trade or ten with you or someone else in this thread!

I never intended to get involved in trading...Didn't see the point, didn't want to get screwed, etc. I am about to consummate what I believe is my 4th trade, with all but one involving other Locals members, and I honestly feel like in every one both parties were very happy with the deal. Plus two guys who just sent me beer and to whom I sent payback later. I don't know if I just got lucky with this particular group of BA's, but everyone here seems to cate more about their trade partner's satisfaction than their own.

 

VBS - started with a Half Acre Heyoka, moved onto this intriguing brew, also christening my new Dogfish Head IPA glass

 

I think unless @PA-Michigander tells me he wants half a case I'm going to skip the case purchase.

With that said, I did spot it on shelf selling single bottles, so if you'd like me to pick up a few that way I'm happy to; as long as I can remember where it was... I think it was Whole Foods, which is good cuz they're cheap... in fact, they're $8 at Whole Foods (if that's where they're still available) vs they would've been like $7.50 at the case price. If you (or anyone) would like, BM me a label and how many you want; I'm drowning in beer right now so I'll just take paypal if that's ok.

You definitely got lucky. I've gotten doubly lucky as I participate in SWTFYW as well. Outside the BIF subforum, it's a bit more of a jungle. Stay here where it's nice and warm.

 

So @Lehighace06 & @heystevec are being bullies and are making me join! For some reason I have been doing every bif in the past year or less but skipped this one, which if course became the cool one. So I would like to try and force my way in by starting a lif.

How much will the Packers beat the Viking by next weekend. The tie breaker will be how many yards Aaron Rodgers throws for. This will be closest to the correct answer, not price is right rules.

The winner will win a box of Wisconsin beers. (Depending on my mood after the packers game, ranging from Old Milwaukee to New Glarus and Central Waters goodness.)

I've only been on BA for a few months, but have done several trades on the ISO board. So far, most people have been very easy to communicate with, and I have certainly met a few traders who have been as excited about making sure I've been thrilled as I have for them. That being said, I believe my odds of getting into a trade one-upsmanship battle in this group is even higher...

Glad it is still drinking well. I didn't get into my last one tonight, but the one I had a few weeks ago was definitely stellar.
