I'm betting it's gonna average 30 dollars per four pack here in the baltimore area.

Saw BCBW for $76 per 4-pack, BCBS AT $40, and Backyard for $55 in Maryland.

Got BCBW and BCBS for $4.50 per bottle down here in Florida.

Which of the variants will be in 4-packs and which will be in big bottles?

    Cheers!

I'll have to check out Dominion next time I'm up that way. Thanks!

From what I've gathered BCBS, BCBBW, and BCBCS will all be in 12oz bottles/6 packs. Vanilla Rye will be in 22oz bottles, as will Proprietors, but I think that's only available in Chicago.

If you'll be in DC I bet the Whole Foods on P Street will get ample amount of BCBS. They're one of the bigger accounts in the area

I'll be buying this as long as it's below $30 for a 4-pack. Even at that price, it's still less expensive and widely considered better tasting than a lot of $20~$30 Barrel Aged stout bombers out there.

Unfortunately, I'll actually be in North Carolina where BC isn't even sold, so I have to get up early and head back to VA Beach to get whatever I can.

4 packs, not 6. Everything else is accurate though (same as last year, but with Vanilla Rye taking the place of Backyard.)

In SC all the variants were between $18-24 a 4-pack/$5 single. Backyard Rye was in the same price range.

I have also heard through the grapevine that stores are told how much they will sell BC for. They apparently do what they are told, even though it's their "choice" to disobey. And if the distributor is charging them more, they don't really have any choice but to pass it on.

Thank you. What kind of deal is it? We talking people are lining up before they open to get it? Or is it more leisurely and you can stop in at any time on Black Friday? Just trying to get an idea what it's like there based on previous years.

Good question haha I've never been there for a BCBS release but they will probably get 10+ cases or so. Unsure of how many variants. It wouldn't hurt to go earlier but I doubt you need to be out there at sun up either.. Someone from DC may be able to clarify though.

Yep, that's Maryland for ya. Go to one of the state-owned liquor stores (of which there are very few), get good prices on beer; go anywhere else, absolute wallet ****. I've seen Jewbelation Reborn---which is supposed to be between $6.99 and $10.99---on sale for $20. Unibroue Grande Reserve 17 is $24.99. Ugh.

    Ugh.

Virginia is also an option for me. I actually used to live in the Arlandria area. Know of any sure fire spots around there this year?

Alexandria? I don't.. But Westover Beer Market in Arlington is an option... Will likely be pricier there though
