I think one of the beer managers told me it would be 24 a four. Worth it. Avery Tweak at 30 something a 12 ounce bottle is scary expensive.

Anyone know if TX will be receiving more or less than last year? I was able to snag two single bottles, then went back to the Midwest for Christmas and was able to grab a couple four packs. Never saw any of the variants in either place.

 

That's strange. I saw a good chunk of Coffee last year in RI while I was in grad school. I had actually planned on heading up when the allotments arrived to visit some friends, visit the old haunts and pick up some Coffee while I was there.

I also hope that it's only hear-say because Bourbon County Vanilla Rye (albeit different from original BCBVS) is probably the number 1 beer on my must try list. Yes, the coffee was fairly available last year. I managed to get 2 4 packs without trying too hard.

 

I know some places hike up the prices, but at least it isn't like that in Baltimore County. Also, I've never heard of them that high, at least for BCBW that is. I'm guessing those are were out in Western MD or in Montgomery County. Our alcohol is definitely a bit more expensive than most other states though, or at least it seems that way.

 

It was in Hagerstown. I told them I'd happily take both Backyards off their hands for what they were asking for one of them and they literally laughed in my face. I left. This was back in early June, so clearly they had been sitting around a long while and nobody was buying them.

 

I believe Goose has raised prices this year, so you should be seeing around a $24.99 standard, from what I've heard.

Also, if you have not tried it before, I would recommend at least trying it this year. 25 bucks is pretty steep, but if you find out you don't like it, you'll now know it's not worth the hassle to chase down/pay for, and if you find out you love it, you'll have one more treat to look forward to in the holiday season.

 

BC is sold in North Carolina. Waiting to hear what my allocation is going to be.

 

I spoke with someone at distro that stated "a" case or two going to the bigger (assume the shop you want) shops and have to see what's left for the smaller shops. Certainly sounds bleak as shit for us in central VA. I'm probably going to focus my energy on the tap this year and enjoy a glass or two and be done with it.

 

haha, I do like your positive attitude, wondering what a four pack costs. I'm in the SE VA/VB area also, and maybe I'm wrong but I doubt most places around us are going to let you buy a 4 pack.

 

Where do you recommend going around the Chi area?

 

Not really sure this year. Going to stay local and just see if I get anything. I want to support my local shops but may be harder now

 

Any word on if there is a different ABV version like last year?
