i think i am right back on track with bi-weekly updates. per @roger85's most recent math, we are now 45 days away from ridiculousness, and rogers mouth is watering. without further ado, this will be mostly updates and reminders.

@Jas45678 is still trying to put together a mead tasting the friday of the share, but he and i are the only ones attending at this point. will anyone else be coming in friday? although i dont know meads very well, he has some pretty awesome sounding shit on the docket.

the trades tab is looking quite slim. i was hoping to eclipse the amount of beer in @zekeman17's house at bs1.0 with this one, but it doesnt seem to be looking like it. no biggie, just reminding people that even locals for locals would satisfy a lot of the tickers we have.

i know we have a bunch of home brewers in here. are none of you man enough to challenge @ThreeFishes? seriously, send us your homebrew and we will drink it and pick a winner. winner gets a prize tbd, but most importantly bragging rights.

finally, the exchange event was pretty cool last year. lots of interesting bootles. sign up if youre interested, which you should be, as this isnt something you want to miss.

I'm hoping to get most my trades/gopickititupformes before we head to your house. Don't feel like lugging 5 cases of beer around again.

 

I've already challenged @ThreeFishes, so the title is not his by default. It will probably definitely be his though.

I'm also doing everything in my power to come to the mead tasting, and if I can make it I will bring homebrew mead to add to the share. It will be drank first or not at all, no way in hell am I following HoD or some other ridiculous shit with my pathetic attempt to turn honey into booze.

I'd love some locals for locals trades, and have the opportunity to lock down some pretty nice bottles if anyone is interested in more than shelf beer, but I'll need a bit of advance notice. Please BM me if you are at all interested.

 

Alert to the FIBulous folks out there: I got a message today from a little birdie that there is a box landing in the greater Chicago area tomorrow. Please be advised this had NOTHING to do with anyone involved with the CPAs.

I am hopeful that I can make Friday happen. I think I should be able to drive in Friday, hotel it up Friday and Saturday, and then drive back to GA on Sunday. If anyone else is on a similar plan and wants to split a hotel room/have a massive spooning party shoot me a BM. Keeping costs down and bodies warm is the shit.
