I would not follow KDB150's advice if you are looking for coffee or Vanilla rye. There are less than 30 cases of each in the Philly/Chester County market.

OK, so million-dollar question (literally?)...how much can I expect to pay in Philly? Used to about $7-8/bottle in my previous haunts, but I'm guessing it'll be just a wee bit more round these parts? What have people seen in the past?

I haven't paid for a single of BCBS but I've paid $30 for a 4 pack in Philly the last two years.

IIRC, Wegmans had 4 packs at $24.99

If you are out in the suburbs - Wegmans and Whole Foods will have the best price. If you get down I-95 to the border at the Total Wine on Naamans Rd Delaware, even better.

What link? The one that shows 9am - 12pm at cross-streets?

The Foodery's twitter shows the different times by location. I would trust them over the generic GI event page.

Well, @hackomal stated before that he works for the GI wholesaler. If this is in fact the case that would probably as good of a confirmation that we will get.

They'll still be in stores. Coffee and Backyard were in ample supply at every bottle shop I went to Black Friday last year. Got 4 Backyards and 5-6 coffees. 30 cases is enough to supply every specialty bottle shop in Philly and Chester County with 1 case, and some with 2. I'm not sure how the limited supply means they won't be available in stores.

I'm not sure we live in the same city. 30 cases is enough for every bottle shop to get a case some 2? There are way more bottle shops than 30 in Philadelphia/Chester counties.

So that just means there must be plenty available in Bucks!

SPECIALTY bottle shops. I.E., the ones that cater to beer nerds and typically get limited things like BCBS variants. If you can name more than 30, have at it.

I also don't know that the claim of 30 cases posted above is anything other than an attempt to get people to go to the Foodery(s). These things were very easy to get last year provided you didn't mind hitting several stores on Black Friday.

I honestly don't care if you go to the fooderies or not. You can choose to believe me or not. I have had help looking for limited beers on here in the past, so I thought I would share the love. If you go out on Black Friday, or if you have some good connections at some of the higher end bottles shops around, then you have a solid chance of getting some variants. I can promise you this though. Most stores that do get coffee Will only be getting one case. If they choose to sell in 4pks, then you better be one of the first 6 in the store. I know how disappointed I have been when I missed out on a release, and there are always posts about what rumors people heard in the market. I am telling you the general amount available. Maybe demand won't be as high as years past and you might see some around the following week. I just don't think that's going to be the case. Take it as you wish.

You sure you dont work for Foodery? I hope and pray that everyone that goes to these Foodery releases buys their bourbon county and nothing else. The place is a disgrace to craft beer. Over priced, even more than most Philly places. Old ass stale IPA's on the shelf. The selection is good because any self respecting craft beer enthusiast will avoid the high prices and stale beer and go to their local more reasonably priced alternative.
