Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you like BMC, go for it. I may not understand why you drink it. For instance, here in Charlotte, we have a few places that have 100 or so taps of craft beer. I will be there to watch a football game and people will be walking around with a bottle of Miller Lite. Aren't you at all interested in the goodness found in the 100 taps you see on the wall??? Guess not and that's ok. I won't judge you. Feel free to come over to my house for a party and bring your BMC. Even leave you extras so I can give them out to my BMC loving neighbor when he comes over. He can drink all the orphans he wants because I know he wouldn't appreciate my Hop Drop 'n Roll or whatever I keep on hand.

It's ok to drink BMC, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Of course I buy a ton of Dunkin Donuts coffee when I could be drinking premium imported coffee made in a french press. I suppose coffee aficionados would take issue with that.

Please do drink BMC. Leaves more craft for me.

I'd be willing to bet against you. To each his own, but I know among my beer drinking circle, there are only a couple that are ever drinking anything BMC and that is mostly due to financial situations. I think I'll pass on the swill... it'd be my last option. Not trying to be a snob, it just isn't enjoyable, AT ALL...

Well said. I admit that I used to (and still do) get irked and insult people who drink macro (more often than not when they look down at me for drinking craft), but I have no problem saying I drink Labatt time-to-time. As a matter of fact, I kind of like it. It hits the spot sometimes for me. I will say that I, personally, find some macros to flat out taste bad -- skunky, metallic, etc. I've found some exceptions though, and I'm not embarrassed to say I drink them occasionally.

I try to be a beer advocate in that I support all brews. Some I prefer and some I don't but anyone who says if someone handed them a bud light at a party they wouldn't drink it is most likely lying. Shoot sometimes my beer group will drink BMC after or inbetween tasting a few beers.

It's ok to drink BMC I suppose. Each person has their own taste. I can't stand the stuff myself but if one is handed/offered to me as a friendly gesture, I'm going to drink it and not be a dick and say I don't like that kind of beer.

My only exception is I do enjoy Coors Batch 19. It's much more flavorful than any of their other offerings and a good example of a pre-prohibition style lager.

People who drink Bud Light probably order a ribeye cooked well-done then put ketchup on it.

I think the main reason why a lot of BAs give the BMC the stink eye is because of the way the big dogs have man handled distribution from top to bottom via politics and the strong arm. Anyone who doesn't get that probably has not watched "Beer Wars." That should be a prerequisite in order set up a user name here, but that's just like, uhm, ya know...my opinion, man.

Drink what you like and don't criticize others for the choices they make when it comes to the beer they select. Personally, there's little in the BMC line that I like. I'd rather enjoy may calories and spend my money on other options.

People are going to drink what they want to drink...whether it's Craft Beer or BMC products. As a Craft Beer enthusiast I shy away from snobbery and try to promote beers I think are better options than anything BMC makes. I have friends who drink Blue Moon...so when they come over I give them options that IMO are better representations of that style. Avery White Rascal, St. Bernadus Wit, Lost Abbey Witches Wit...and a whole host of Craft Wit styles that are out there. I think they deserve to try something that is better (IMO), and I feel like I'm meeting them at their level so to speak. Same goes for Pilsners. I break out a 6pk of Victory Prima Pils and watch my friends realize on their own that they've been lied to by "Lite" ads telling them it's a "fine pilsner"...which it is NOT. Snobbery is junior-high when it comes to Craft Beer. IMO I think people deserve better, and when shown better options they will choose the better option (Craft vs BMC). Friends, people or consumers are going to choose what they want to ingest, but since I'm a Craft Beer fan it's my obligation to kindly show them that on any given day they can purchase beer from Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, New Belgium, Stone, Deschutes, Modern Times, Port, Bell's, Founders, Avery, Great Divide, Victory, Surly, DogFishHead, Ommegang, Cigar City or ___________ and it's going to be a better option than anything (I mean anything/any style) BMC can offer.

True that. And love that gaffigan routine! Not my cup of " brew" but to each his own...I wonder if you could put a BMC in a hot pocket?

Agreed but it takes time to develop your taste buds also. I one brought a sixer of Celebration Ale to a Christmas bonfire and everyone thought it tasted like crap. So I guess that's true but you have to be conservative with your first selections
