There are actually a couple of ghost peppers hidden behind the bottles.

 

I think I saw you say that before and completely missed it.

 

So...here's a little haul from a trade that has been a long time in the works with @hansenm72. He asked me about some Almanac bottles available in CO and I told him I would collect a few as they hit town...he'll be getting his haul next week, but in the meantime. He absolutely destroyed my porch.



Massive box with tons of extras. I'll start to dig into these guys later today. Thanks again Mike!

Afternoon VBS. I think I need to buy a snow shovel and move up north.


Notice the glass. @Kramerbarthomer was right, can put it down. (Thx @PA-Michigander). MY wife tells me i look like an asshole drinking beer out of a long stem glass, so that makes me like it even more.

 

...and I will join in the VBS too... This is an amazing pumpkin ale... Seek it out..

 

This beer is outstanding. Need more!

 

Somehow I still have not had one of these. I've gotten about 9 bottles of New Glarus beer as extras in the last couple months since it came out, but not one was this.

 

#VBS #properglassware Since I came into some extra BCBS from a charity auction that the winner didn't pick up (so I won it as the second place bidder), drinking some BCBS now. Definitely overpaid (hey, it was for charity at least), but nice to luck into an extra 4 each of BCBS and 4 BCBW.

VBS bitches! I'm seriously regretting leaving out the Night Shift Berliner that I have, not because I needed to add another 750mL to my (solo) tasting, but because frankly all three of these are a bit underwhelming.

The only one with any sourness is the Evil Twin, and that one has some off flavor in the finish; the other two are just a little boring for my taste. I guess I'm spoiled by Nodding Head and Bear Republic's Berliners that are significantly more sour.

 

Rockets win! F Dallas! (No offense @Clarkson.. I still wanna make our pending trade work ) I'm just stoked that we won the game without Dwight Howard!

More VBS... Tweak again, yes everyone.. it is that good...
