Believe me, it was poured. It tasted awful. My wife wanted to redo it so she could get the pour in but I'd already cracked that last can and I wanted to get it over with.

I wanted to sit on the stoop and let my wife do my hair, but then no one would be there to film. That, and I couldn't get anyone w/ a bike so I could ride the handlebars...

 

I'll be honest, as long as it entertains you fuckers, I would happily do either one.


Then again, I had to drink a beer while upside down in 20 degree weather, so maybe I just see those (both indoor) activities as the preferred choices....

I have no idea if this is part of the GnJ thing, or if this is a shithoused drunken rant, but either way I like it.

 

Also, are we doing #VBS tonight? If so, I decided to do a Berliner tasting... I'm seriously regretting leaving out the Night Shift that @WesFoxlove sent me, not because I needed to add another 750mL to my (solo) tasting, but because frankly all three of these are a bit underwhelming.

The only one with any sourness is the Evil Twin, and that one has some off flavor in the finish; the other two are just a little boring for my taste. I guess I'm spoiled by Nodding Head and Bear Republic's Berliners that are significantly more sour.

I've been sitting on this for no reason at all for a while. It is their release #17 (they are on 41 I believe) and the smell, and taste, is far more coffee forward than the most recent BCBCS I've had. I wish I had a case of this beer. The barrel is nowhere near as prominent but holy hell this beer is divine.

 

I sent this out to the FIBs.........and that glass looks familiar A leftover from me at BS1.5?

@PA-Michigander I've taken note that you want a case of big bad not only is it easy to find for me here, I'm from utah originally and went to epic when it was just starting out... One of my favorites as well for sure ​

@Mipper I tried to find the rightful owner, I think it was supposed to go to @ColdOne and hopefully soon it will. I love this type of glass. I gave one of my two Heady glasses away and shattered my other one so this one satisfies that need!
