Hey, just wondering if anyone knows if there are still bottles left of the Belmont Station 15th anniversary beer?? I know I could just call, but figured I would ask here first before I head to work. Thanks!

As of late Saturday afternoon, they had plenty left (quite a few cases still). Unless there was a huge run on the beer since then, I'll bet they still have some. I wouldn't be surprised if the beer was still on tap as well (I didn't see a lot of people ordering it while I was there).

Personally, I really like this years version...

You might have just shot yourself in the foot by starting this thread OP. For a release of this tickerish caliber (one-off, corked and caged, sour aged in Pappy barrels), there was virtually no pre-hype or buzz. Let the run on the last remaining bottles begin. My prediction is it sells out today if it hasn't already. Block 15 didn't mess around with this beer. They nailed it.

Completely agree. I expected it to be good, but the beer is flat out exceptional.

While I was there at BS, it seemed as if some folks were put off by what they felt was a high price. IMHO, for what it is, the price for this beer is quite reasonable.

Do you mean this year's version compared to last year's Upright version?

I loved it and it was a bargain for $15. Really excellent beer...Also, they had Super Nebula on tap for the release which is, in my opinion, one of the finest imperial stouts out there.

Yes. The Upright beer was interesting, but just not my cup of tea. I greatly prefer the Block 15 version.

I overheard a couple people mention the price too, which was odd to me because it was the same price (or slightly cheaper) than every other C&C bottle that Block 15 has released.

OP: as of now (12:30pm pacific) there are still bottles in stock. I'd give it a 50/50 chance of them selling out today.

I love Block 15...and I want other BAs to love Block 15...but I'm also happy they're under the radar enough that their stuff isn't selling out in a few hours and generating massive lines. I think they are hands down one of the best PNW breweries for barrel-aged beers.

Oh and if folks miss the bottles at Belmont, the brewery will be selling them starting tomorrow (same limit of 2 pp).

Eh. I had a glass on Sat and thought it to be too malty and needed a bigger sour component. I didn't end up getting any. Too bad there weren't bottles of Super Nebula. That stuff was awesome.

I thought about not making this thread, but figured I would ask before making the hour drive south after work. Luckily, I was able to grab a couple bottles, along with some other beer as well. Looked to be about 4 cases left when I was there this afternoon.

84 total cases, 40 put on the floor at Belmont Station, 10 put in their cellar, and the rest is at Block 15.

Plus, I got to have a glass of the 15th Anniversary and some Pappy's Dark while at Belmont Station. It was a good last day of the school year.

Big fan of the recent Pappy's Dark. That one (as the name implies) was PVW barrels as well. What other Oregon bottle shop and brewery gives you the option of TWO Pappy -bals on-tap?! Love Block 15 and Belmont Station. Looking forward to the next Super Nebula aged in, you guessed, PVW. :grinning:

You should give a bottle a shot. They have a noticeably lower pH that I personally prefer, but I did enjoy the maltier draft as well.
