Yea it sucks! Also there's another spot in Hendersonville called bluegrass, they get decent allocations of bourbon, so I'd guess they get a decent amount of beer as well. I can't personally vouch for it being a good spot for BCS, but the allocated bourbon they get hangs around on the shelf much longer than anywhere else in the area. Might be worth at least giving them a call, they're good people. All that said, since the allocations in Nashville as dismal at best this year, you might be better off sticking to the burbs like Hendersonville or Smyrna.

For now. I will put stoppers on the top so I can enjoy over the next couple days.

I guess I will probably stick to pour vous and then hit up bluegrass. Thanks for the info! Now I have to decide what time to get there. I was going to go before they open, but I'm not sure how early. Any suggestions?

Given the small amount this year, I'd be at one or the other when they opened at the latest. Would def not hurt to show up early. I don't venture out that way much so I'm not sure how crazy people get over allocated booze there. They're only a couple miles apart, so you should be able to hit em both up fairly quickly.

If they get as crazy about allocated beer as they do about craft beer in general, then I don't have much to worry about. Craft just doesn't seem to move much in this area.

You are welcome! I was not aware of anyone showing up early or lining up. I think Tuck just casually put them on the shelf early afternoon-ish, but again they are going to only sell singles (no limit I believe, however) at 8-10 PER bottle. Other places should sell 4pks and for less, I would guess. No one does any "events" or anything like that. I am pretty sure I bought a pack at Famous a day or two after Black Friday. I heard some third-hand scuttlebutt about Hyvee selling it early in the morning, but nothing concrete. I'd say just call the three places a few days ahead of time (today or tomorrow), to see what they have to say.

I didn't realize that, but it makes sense in that case, even though Bourbon County seems like it would draw a bigger crowd elsewhere in Florida.

Last year, some of the Friar Tuck's took orders days in advance. The only thing they had when they opened in Bloomington was an extra allocation of regular. The Friar Tuck in Bloomington already has more reserved orders than they expect to be able to fill. So I'd call the manager in Springfield to see if you can reserve any. No idea if all of their stores take reservations or not. Good luck.

Not sure if you're serious, but at some stores you have to line up hours in advance.

As to price, with the anticipated huge increase for most people, and the possibility that everyone is being told to sell it for $26.99 per unit, you'll pay about $120 including tax for the 4 you want.

Just read on another forum that a growler bar in Columbus, GA was getting a keg of Proprietors for Friday. Anyone heard of this making it out of Chicago before?

I had '13 in Ann Arbor, MI a few months back during GI migration week. I know they hold some back for special events.

Completely serious (why wouldn't I be?). My store is getting all four variants, and I hope to secure one of each.
