If you ever think about this crazy idea.... well, it is possible !

Have you ever had a special brewery showcased in a specific tasting like this !?

    Cheers

Incredible! I've only had their beers on draft, and there was something special about every single one I've tasted. I think if they began even a limited distribution people would start talking about them like they talk about Hill Farmstead. Seriously.

Agreed 100%. They're opening a new facility next year sometime, where I believe they're going to start bottling Hop Hands and Saison Hands. Not certain if they plan on doing anything else.

Tired Hands is amazing. I'm fortunate to work 10 minutes away and get to stop in often and there is always something new and fantastic. They are a hidden gem and I kinda like it that way.

I live on the west coast and have had the pleasure of trading for some Tired Hands growlers over the past couple of years. They are easily my favorite brewery currently running. Hopefully their new facility that's in the works will get some bottles out here a little easier. I will NEED to make a trip out there one of these days.

I'm just surprised that nobody stayed over, unless everybody had a DD.

I could do this with Burley Oak. I'd only need to hunt down the first bottle or two. Do you count different batches of bottle releases? They released the same Barleywine twice.

    What is a DD !? ( sorry I normally speak french ;-) )

We were only chasing one bottle of each bottles. Not all the batches of very one.... otherwise we would still be drinking !

A DD is a designated driver. So, there were no verticals at the tasting? I'm not familiar enough with Tired Hands to know if they have something like an Anniversary beer or something like Darkness, where people do tastings of every year it was released.

That's still a ton of beer. 40 bottles of varying size and ABV between 5 people.

2 of the 5 were staying over. But we drank the 40 bottles during 12 hours, so I was more tired, then drunk ! But we could have been, easily 6 or 7 to do it all.

TH are normally releasing one beer a month, bottled, and some special beers for different events. Don't think they are doing anniversary beer...

I love me some Burley Oak. Stopped there while on vacation in Ocean City and I was knocked out. They will be canning some of their beers soon and I can only hope we get some in South Jersey.
