Black Friday 2014 Bourbon County Release

Word in south florida is that TW will be getting large amounts of this I am from the Chicago area and have refused to support any GI product after they were taken over. I will try for 2 12oz bottles of BCBC and the coffee version that is it this is my first time being in an area that will have it and I know others go crazy for it so they can buy all they want me just a few bottles of each. I won the Black Tuesday lottery so that will be my high ABV stout of choice over BCBS

 

No I hear ya, I agree with ya. I'm just saying that here in NC places don't generally have things like this just sitting out in a big pile allowing people to buy however much they want. Maybe in some bootleg liquor store in another state that might be the case, but I've never seen anything like that around here.

I would be ecstatic to get two 4-packs of BCBS, that's kind of a lot. I'd be willing to bet that the maximum amount any store is going to sell per person is one 4-pack and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of places were doing them by the single bottle.

 

The real question is who is going to drink 3 cases of Backwoods before they go off. I feel like I'm going to have to hit up some TWs to get any BCBS, because I don't think any of the places I go in Chapel Hill and Durham sell very much of the regular GI lineup.

 

Backwoods is hot enough to sit for a year, and three cases is also good trade bait or extras. Hoarders got to hoard, reasons why aren't important.

 

What word is this exactly? Not doubting you, just curious to learn more.

 

I don't think I could say that about any limited, seasonal or annual release the last couple of years. From any brewery. It's just how it works in south FL. I hope you are right.

 

Does anyone know if Charlotte area release will be staggered like last year?

 

depending how friday goes i will post a bottle of pappy van winkle bourbon i get for some vanilla/prop. but feeling pretty confident about landing the vanilla Friday. coffee may be another story but oh well.

 

Anyone with any info on places in/around West Palm, FL that will be having these for release on Black Friday?

Also got word that my buddies over at Frank N Steins will also have the downtown release as well, and will be offering FLIGHTS of all 4! 11/26 4PM-7PM...... damn I hate that I'm going out of town!

When you guys call stores is there someone specifically you ask for who has the best idea of what Is going on? Just ask for manager specifically or someone else?

Also anyone Tampa Clearwater area have a plan yet? Does anyone know if total wine or luekens is definitely getting any variants?

It appears as though NC & SC will not be getting Vanilla. Does anyone know any differently ?

 

I heard NC isn't getting any Vanilla either, where is it all going? None in GA, SC or NC???

 

Maybe that guy was right about Prop and Vanilla is Chicago only release.
