This thread made me stop and think how many craft beers I've had in cans. It's a longer list than I expected:

Sixpoint: Resin, Crisp, Righteous, Sweet Action, Bengali, Apollo

    Oskar Blues:
Ten Fidy, Gordon/G'Knight, Old Chub, Dale's Pale, Mama's Little Yella Pils,

    Narragensett: Bock, Festbier, Summer, Lager

Sly Fox: Pikeland Pils, Dunkel Lager, Oktoberfest

    Brooklyn: Lager, EIPA

    CCB: Jai Alai

    21st Amendment: Bitter American

    Belhaven: Scottish Ale (nitro)

    Plzensky Prazdroj:
    Pilsner Urquell

That's 24. More to come.

Favorites would have to be Ten Fidy, Jai Alai, & Old Chub

Perfect! Stop drinking it. They keep running out. Its probably best you continue your quest for above average beers.

I'm getting married in the Summer and my fiancé is into a whole down-home/cheap theme. I'm in charge of the beer, and our ice chest will be wheelbarrows. I thought to keep with the theme, it would be cool to have great craft brew in cans. (I'm already a fan of the can). But I know all y'all know more of what's out there than I do, what canned brew would you suggest? I live near LA, but I'd like to consider stuff that may not be readily available to me as well.

    I'm already considering:
    • Modern Times Blazing World
    • Golden Road Cabrillo Kölsch
    • Oskar Blues Ten Fidy
    • Ballast Point Sculpin

I know this isn't close to you but Surly here in MN packages most of their brews in cans. Some of my favorites are Hell, Furious, Coffee Bender, and Abrasive. Congratulations by the way! Sounds like it's going to be a good time.

This would work for me. Nice dose of Hoppy goodness with some Midnight Caramel Malt sweetness. Plus perfect amount of ABV. Yet, I'd take this over Blazing World for best canned beer...

21st Amendment's Brew Free or Die is a great basic IPA that won't be too strong for many of your guests that aren't as used to craft beer.

I'd have to agree Ten Fidy is one of the best, if not the best.

BTW, congratulations on your impending nuptials. SN Pale ale You have a lot of great choices for canned craft in California. SN Pale Ale and 21st Amendment Bitter American ( a nice lower ABV choice) come to mind as widely available and approachable craft offerings. It is great that your bride also doesn't like going overboard on wedding costs - a nice departure from today's overhyped weddings.

Indeed. Bitter American is another approachable, yet delicious one.

Thanks! She even wanted wooden rings with mother of pearl to suit her. I'll look into 21st Amendment more. I'm actually in the middle of a trade for their Fireside Chat right now, getting ready for a Christmas-themed bottleshare.

Thanks! I'll look into it. There's got to be SOMEBODY in the LA area who can get ahold of these for me to try!

If not, find a generous BA in CT that would love to send you some Gandhi.
