The only bottles I saw last year were going for $17 each. I laughed and walked out of the shop. I know a few places had it for less than that, but they sold out too quickly for me to buy any.

I'd probably go as high as $12 per bottle just to finally try it. I'd only buy one at that price though.

I have not had them yet so I would pay 30 for a four pack.

Last year I got all I wanted for $17.99 per pack for the regular and barleywine. I hope it doesn't go much above $20.

I'd go $40 for the barleywine. That's better than a $20 bomber, and that is the upper end of what I'll pay for one of those.

Just bought mine for $22 a 4-pack. I would pay more though, and even more if I can get a bulk shipment. My love for this beer knows no bounds. . . Well, the threshold is at least much higher.

$30? Don't want to try it that badly. I struggle to even warrant the price of $20 for bombers and 750mls.

When I learned about the price increases this year, I knew there could come a time when I would have to draw a line in the sand and stop buying as much BCBS as I do. It is the undisputed champ of BA stouts, and I'm willing to pay a premium for how great it actually is. That said, the highest I will go is $30. If it goes beyond that, I can't see myself purchasing it anymore unless I come into some serious disposable income.

Which means all over Southern California it'll be $30 and you know what??? It will sell out even at that markup.

so how quickly will this sale out? When does it go on sale? Is this something you can go into total wine on release date and get?

Well, it sold like hot cakes when it cost $20+ a bomber, so I'm sure it will sell like crazy when it reaches $30 a four pack. I'll pay whatever they're charging this year for it.

I believe the Total Wine list price near me is going to be 21.99 for 4-pk of BCBS.

Just so you guys have a European reference, I usually pay 9€ per bottle. A little cheaper for a case of 24, so long as you know where to go.

i'd buy a case at $10-12 per bottle if it saved me the trouble of continually hunting down random loose bottles. piece of mind and time-saving is valuable to me.

and honestly...if i go to a store because i think they may have something in stock, i'm probably not leaving empty handed even if they're gouging me.

but i haven't built a comfort level yet with tracking down BCBS. once i have some reliable stores in my arsenal, i'll be less flexible.
