Where? Also, talked to a store owner this morning who said 1) his distributor got no coffee or vanilla and 2) his distributor said no coffee or vanilla for the entire state.

I think this is going to be the case for a lot of states this year. Same thing in Colorado...

This is sadly what's keeping me out of it... hoping for a taste at an upcoming bottle share, but I doubt highly I'll figure out a way to get my own bottle, $2.33/oz, $3.25 once you factor in cost of having it shipped to me, is just too high for me this month.

Yes, let's give everyone some time, depending on how my finances look I just might relent and join. Might also help to post some "rules" or at least remind us what boxes looked like from Summer.

If I can participate and realistically get out of this for the cost of 6 shelf beers I might have to be in, but much more than that and I'm sticking to my guns.

Even though I'm chomping at the bit, I agree with @Lehighace06. Give people time to figure out finances, especially around the holidays.

Hope you enjoy man, that Shirling is a kick ass DIPA, so make sure to drink it 5 minutes ago. I wish Founders Harvest was a little fresher, but I'm told that wet hop beers of the season are still drinking well.

edit: I love that you already have this in hand, I handed it off to FedEx literally 22 hours before you posted this, which also means you can be drinking it tonight, it was filled only 48 hours ago!

A little beer PrON. Thanks to @Justinsosmart for helping a brother out with the Black Tuesday and for sending some extras to enjoy.

Already been told my local is only getting the base, none of the variants. I'll more than likely end up with none of them as Black Friday is spent up at my parents in the woods of VA, at least an hour away from a beer store (nevermind whether they'll actually have BCBS variants or not).

edit: Not that I'm really complaining. While I find them to be good, I just don't buy into a lot of overly hyped beers anymore. If I can get it fairly easily, great. If not, oh well.

Received some bad news today, in that we're likely going to have to put one of our dogs down after he had a nasty (for his breed) fall off the couch last night. Discs in the back, closest place that does the surgery is over an hour away, upwards of $6k. Really bummed, but I'm more worried about how the rest of the family will take it (they get way more emotionally attached to pets than I do).

The bright side of the day was finding out a local store to me that is usually horrendously overpriced started selling BCBS yesterday (didn't receive any variants), and I stopped after teaching today to see one four pack left on the shelf, got it for $27. Not as bad as I expected from this place, especially after hearing about the price increase this year (I wouldn't have put it past this shop to have it out at like 35)

Sorry to hear about your dog. That really sucks. They become such a huge part of the family.

Yup. We have him and a cockerpoo. Two little lap "dogs" lol (I put dogs in quotes because at one point in time our one cat was bigger than both of them -- she's since gotten smaller since she's getting old, but is still fairly large)

They are known for slipped discs. I'm sorry to hear, they are cool little dogs.

Sorry for the news, we carry our mix Maltese/poodle/mutt up and down the stairs.

Hip and back problems, he gets a monthly shot that helps.

What part of VA will you be in? I'll be in the mountains of VA myself. Considering taking my brother bcbs hunting if I can get away with it.
