They released this at their pubs for a couple days over the summer. It wasn't bad but it was hard to drink a whole pint of. Had nice spicy character for the first couple sips but eventually it got really hot and hard to drink.

This would be great to try cooking with. Love Sriracha, but would not drink.

Admit it, nearly every BA user would have creamed their pants if Lagunitas or Sierra Nalevada did this.

Not necessarily... I think some things just don't need to be in beer. This shit has gotten out of hand

I agree to some extent about adding non traditional adjuncts to beer. That said, I don't see how the idea of a sriracha stout is any worse than a chipotle stout or habanero IPA.

Hey it can't be any worse than Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon Ale. Or can it?:grimacing:

Will probably blend this with Beard Beer and make a pint of sadness.

Sriracha + Beer = Hot Mess....

I'm gonna go out on a limb here (LOL) and say this will be pretty good for cooking, perhaps in a chili or soup, but not drinking on it's own. Sounds like a "gimmicky" beer to me.. From my experience with sriracha, I think the heat will be overpowering in a beer.

And this is when sriracha has it's 'jumping the shark' moment.

Also, Rogue, please just stick making your beer. Actual beer. You guys have been a great advocate, but lately to much with the novelty beers.
