Yay I get to work Fri and all the releases are during the day.
So much for BCBS this year unless a spot holds onto some for Sat

Colorado Liquor Mart will probably be at 5 like their other releases.

They're the closest one to my work that had it last year (but it's not exactly close).
If I get the gumption to fight that traffic, that'll prob be the one spot I try

EDIT: Just saw their facebook post, BCBS releasing at noon

I wish we were getting variants but I was happy to get a four pack today.

Some stores are not playing by the rules.

Well at least we know it's in town on time this year. Last year was such a disaster. Wasted half the day running around to stores that hadn't received their allotments on time.

And I'm glad to be honest. Screw the "AB-InBev" rules, there's so much hype around Black Friday and BCBS as it is, the 'timed' releases for 2 freakin' bottles is asinine.

BTW, heard TotalBev in Westminster & Argonaut are both only doing 2-bottles per person (not 2 of each variant), first come, first serve, when the open and sounds like everyone only got BCBS and a very small amount of BCBW

I'm staying home this year... and trading on BA in the comfort of my own house.

Disappointing indeed. It didn't help that virtually every beer magazine and website had giant ads reminding you of "Black Friday" with a picture of all the bottles. It seems like many other markets are getting shunned just like we are. I really wonder where it all went this year.

Yup. Most states are only getting BCBS and limited BCBBW just like us... I've heard a rumor that ONLY the states with official GI Black Friday events (http://www.gooseisland.com/showEvents.html) are getting Coffee and Vanilla (no clue if this is true, but it seems like it...)

I will also be chilling at home on Friday, nursing from Turkey / Beer hangover...

I just grabbed 2 at Mondo, just the regular, don't think they got BW (but I didn't ask, just didn't see it posted or on the shelf). So if you are jonesing for an early bottle, there you go. These limits are laughable.

If you time it right on Friday, you can stop by somewhere between 4 and 8 stores and get 8 bottles of BCBS, maybe a couple bottles of BW...sounds like FUN!!

I'm mostly excited to drink some Snowed In at Copper Kettle and then some RIS at Comrade on Friday.

We recently started getting Palm distro beers again, so the Boon stuff is on the shelf for $10-11. Maybe not the best lambics in the world, but that price is tough to beat. They're great beers for non-BA's that are looking to try something adventurous on Thanksgiving. Somewhere between Lindemann's and more traditional stuff like 3F. Rodenbach Rouge is around, too.
If anyone goes hunting on Friday and misses out, those are fine consolation prizes.
