2014 Bourbon County Brands release - Chicagoland

Jaycase....after talking to some stores I bet many stores will be getting at least regular next week, check jewels and liquor stores. Look on beermenus for taps, and pizza.....piece pizza in wicker park...awesome thin crust and awesome in house only brews

 

Anybody know when bottles and cans is doing theirs...heard it wasn't on black friday....and jaycase if I decided I spent too much I can sell u my extras

You should be able to find regular BCBS around town. A lot official places last year had the variants on tap a week later, too.

 

We will be posting the details of our release on Friday afternoon on FB/Twitter... our allotment isn't coming in until Friday and we don't want to post the details until we can physically see the product in the store... Assuming all goes to plan, our release will be Sunday 11/30 at Noon... Keep an eye on our FB/Twitter on Friday afternoon for confirmation of this and all the details... Thanks!

 

Wow - 1 bottle of coffee. that's sad. I saw someone posting in the ISO forum for 3 4 packs of coffee. How anyone in Chicagoloand could procure that and enough for themself is beyond me. I just want to get 1 4 pack each of the 12oz and 1 each of the 22oz and I'll be happy.

 

Newbie to the bcbs release craziness. For anyone whose done Binnys is it necessary to get in line real early? Anyone had success going closer to opening? Some of us have to work Friday morning!

 

I love BCS, I've been buying it for 10 years. (Remember when it was $12.99 a four-pack in 2004? So expensive!). It's my favorite beer, ever. The variants make it even more awesome. But chasing this thing has become so hard, I can NEVER get the Friday after Thanksgiving off, and the small stores where I shop are getting screwed more than ever. Maybe it's time to stock up on Pipeworks barrel-aged beers at half the price (you can still find them all over, like at Gene's Sausage Shop on Lincoln), drink the hell out of Big Hugs in a couple weeks...and give up. Yes, I know, "thanks for sharing."

Walgreens is pleased to announce that we’ll be participating in the Black Friday release of Bourbon County Stout at our Bucktown flagship store.
We’ll be selling tons of Bourbon County Stout plus four variants; Coffee, Proprietor’s, Vanilla Rye, and Barley Wine.
We’ll also have some great limited edition posters to hand out while supplies last. Allocation is for one Bourbon County Stout 4-pack per customer PLUS one of each of your choice of two of the other variants. First come, first serve. No raffle, no numbers.
We’ll start selling at 12pm and going until 2pm or until we run out of beer. No rainchecks.
