Allagash Farm to Face?

Volante Farms in Needham had one bottle of Nancy left when I was there two days ago. $14.99.

 

And it's been there for over a week, fwiw.

 

we drank it on draft last week at the Black Birch in Kittery I think at a price lower than buying the bottle. Awesome on draft. Plus a chance to beg for them to bottle Evora which I would kill for.

 

Isn't evora draft only?

 

Don't you think that this sort of undermines the purpose of the thread and the nature of a beer community? If anything, go there first, grab a bottle or two and then pass the word along if there is anything left.

 

currently which makes it difficult to get, but when we found it we loved it. Hence the plea to bottle it, not an terrible thing to ask. The other thing would be to ask how much for a small keg. Love that beer.

 

Ah! I thought you were going to plead to recieve a bottle! Yes, definitely plead to have it bottled, and add my similar opinion to your plea to whom you plea to.

my distributor (seaboard) said it was limited, our store didnt get any.. he did tip me off that butcher boy in andover had some. they had 3 on the shelf, and i saw a box with 6 in it sitting on the floor. picked up two and they were deeeeelicious

 

Does anyone get peach in this beer? Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't taste peach at all. It's great otherwise. Yeast character reminds me of a Hill Farmstead saison.

 

'Allagash Rob' Tod was there. I figured if you were to plead for a beer to be bottled there was no better person to beg, so lets hope and pray :-)

Yes, I tasted peach. I thought the peach flavors came out a bit the more I drank, though. It wasn't "holy peachness" on first sip.

 

I picked up a bottle today. Store where I purchased it had at least 2 cases on the shelf.

 

Was gonna ask if this was in CT, but the CS would suggest otherwise. Still looking for some in FFLD county

 

Try calling 99 Bottles in Norwalk, they usually have most of the Allagash limited releases.
