Selling 9 week old crap when everyone else is out of stock. Check your can dates, shouldn't have to but do it. I shipped 2 week old beer this week from Bestway to Ny , I'd pour this shit out before I'd trade it. NoDa should be embarressed to do this.

How is that NoDa's fault? Distributor or that TW location is to blame. You should contact NoDa regarding this issue.

I find this to be the problem with every Total Wine I've been to. They must buy so much volume to get a better price, but then can't sell what they've got before it's old. I'm speaking of IPAs and the like that date is critical.

Off topic but be careful shipping NoDa cans. I have had multiple explosions with NoDa Jam Session in the past week

It wasn't old when TW first got it, but now it is because it's been there for forever. This is why Noda dates their cans, be thankful they do. I don't see what the big deal is, you should always be checking can dates when buying Hop Drop.

and yes this is 100% your fault for not looking at the date right there on the can. Dont blame anyone but yourself for this one.

First off, this is clearly your fault as I'm sure TW had them behind the counter at 1pp upon request and super fresh.

Secondly, 9 weeks is now freak-out territory for IPAs? Do you think you could tell the difference blind between a 2-week and 9-week? I've got a can of aged Coors Light that says you can't - you'll need to live stream the test though.

Several grips need to be gotten here. Nine week old IPA is an embarrassment to the brewery and should be immediately poured down the drain. LOL.

It's the distributors responsibility to rotate/pull product. Something they rarely do because of the volume at TW. Contact the brewery, they need to know about it and they'll prob. give you some swag.

NoDa self distributes, so they should be checking. Perhaps they don't think 9 weeks old is too old for the beer.

You think that's bad? TW here still has Stone Enjoy By 4.20.14 and 5.16.14 in stock. Full price and all.

As far as I know, NoDa doesn't distribute out of the Charlotte area. The Triad, Triangle and other retailers go pick it up. Maybe they made a special deal with Total about delivery to points out of the immediate Charlotte region, but I hope not. THAT would piss off a lot of people. There's usually old beer at most Totals.

The Charleston TW? Haven't seen those, but I always check the dates, especially on the Westbrook cans. They do vary quite a bit sometimes, even in the same stack.
