Bourbon County Release in/near Philly

I'm in South Jersey and resigned to not being able to get any. I tried 6-7 stores last Black Friday and struck out...either they didn't get any or it was gone already. I guess my refusal to stand in line at 6 am will keep me from finding it again this year.

Limits at Foodery:

Stopped into my local distributor today to see what they got this year. Last year they got a ton of regular, some coffee and backyard. Unfortunately this year they only got a couple regular cases and no variants. Obviously I was bumbed until they mentioned they got something I might be interested in. Now I have a BCBS sixtel in my kegorator. Happy Thanksgiving!

 

Any idea on prices at the fooderies? $10 per bottle?

 

I'm curious what your route consists of? Would be interested to see what places an 'outsider' came up with.

lol I kinda doubt it. My babysitting situation is still up in the air, so I'll be lucky to go anywhere at all, and if I do it'll probably just be to a Whole Foods or Wegmans hoping to get one of the last 4pks of regular stout.

 

Does anyone know when wegmans starts to sell beer for the day? I tried looking online but I counldn't find anythin.

7 am is when I think I got some past year. This is ridiculous when I think of it...good luck.

 

I called earlier this week and was told beer sales start at 9am and they would be putting BCBS out sometime around 9:30am

 

They told me 8 am when I speed in a few days ago for wegmans king of prussia

Fyi wegmans kop is sold out of the coffee and bw, they seemed to have a good amount of the regular though

KOP and Malvern Wegmans out of variants. Malvern still has plenty of regular, KOP maybe a little less

 

Just left Wegmans Malvern and the guy before me got the last of the coffee and barleywine. There's at least 4 or so cases of regular BCBS sold in 4 packs at $24.99 each with no limit. The manager said, he just wants it gone. I guess because of how much of a headache it is, I don't know. Went to Whole Foods Glen Mills when they opened and they appear to only have 1 case of regular BCBS and is 1 bottle at per person at $5.49 each.

 

I got to the Craft Beer Outlet at 8:45 since they open at 9am and no one was waiting. Turned out to be too good to be true.

Apparently people were waiting at 6 am and they opened the doors before 8 for the 12 bottles of vanilla rye they had in stock. It doesn't sound like they had coffee either. The guy working there currently did not know he came in the store after the initial rush.

They have plenty of regular bcbs for those who are interested. 2 bottle limit.
