BCBS in Greater Rochester, NY Area?

do you guys get a lot of bourbon county in the rochester area? i heard ny does but i was not sure if that just meant nyc or the whole state

 

Also interested.

 

I spoke with the salesperson at Beers Of The World. I believe they said that shipments come in at 10 am (You should check me on that). I also heard that BCBS sold out in 58 minutes last year.

 

Does anyone know of stores that will have BCBS east of Rochester? I will be with my in-laws for Thanksgiving weekend in Marion.

 

Rochester received no variants last year (save for appearances at special events) - who knows what will happen this year. Regular was not difficult to obtain with a modicum of effort. Barleywine was in shorter supply but available. All will hit tap in Rochester save for perhaps Vanilla. We'll find out Friday!

 

I'll be in town for Thanksgiving. I'm planning on going to Hegedorn's and maybe AJ's. Does any one know of other places near Webster?

I would just stick to looking into the larger craft retailers and wegmans in the Rochester area if you're looking for variants. Anything east and the Syracuse area is getting barely getting anything variant wise but most wegmans and bottle shops should have the regular bcbs

 

Did you hear what variants specifically the Rochester area would be getting?

So it turns out I'm staying in MD after all and can get a whole case of BCBS at $25/4-pack if I want after work today. Is it worth it to buy a whole case at that price?

 

If you don't want a whole case i can split it with you. I need some bcbs anyways. my buddy is in the police academy in maryland right now in howard county. is that close to you? i could set something up

 

wegmans? ive never seen bcbs at wegmans before....which wegmans have you seen carry it?

 

I've talked to several people from rochester and syracuse area that have picked up bcbs at Wegmans. It hung out in Auburn for awhile. You might not have seen it because it sells out so quick

 

I don't want to give up all of the honey holes but Its thanksgiving so what the hell right?

At one point early this year, a Wegmans west of Syracuse in a city with a big prison in it had regular BCBS on the shelves for months.

 

Most Wegmans in Rochester and most likely Beers of the World are out of everything so far. Beers of the World got two cases each of Regular, BW, and Coffee, one each per person.

 

Just at beers of the world and got 1 of each....they are probably out by now.

AJ's has releases at 1:30 and 4:00 today

1 stop brew shop had not gotten any yet as of this morning

 

The prices at BOTW seemed repressive, 9.99 each bottle, but I bought it anyway, so f me right?

They did have some vintage stuff, a few people grabbed Parabolas, I grabbed a little mini vert of BCBS, snagged a '12 and a '13.

They had some vintage Utopias too.

 

Yeah i like how they also had out some special stuff from "the back". It was even cool to see some old goose island stuff like Big John and Nightstalker out there.

Ok, now that all the local craft beer dedicated stores have released and probably all sold out....can we get back to the wegmans discussion? Please post if you have seen any sneak on wegmans shelves, and if so...which location?
