    Fucking hope not.

Try finding Lawson's around here when everyone and their brother is traveling from 2-3 states across to buy it all up.

Distributing to CT ahead of increasing the availability in VT would be a giant "FUCK YOU" to the face of VT BAs.

Come on, tone it down a bit. You are starting to act like the rest of the entitled beer geeks out there, I know your better that that.

Vermonters can get Sip of Sunshine on tap locally at tons of places now, so why be greedy, let em have a few cans.

Can you really blame him though?

I too would be frustrated if I can't get Heady on my own local store because some out of state asshole decided to bring mules and spend all day trying to get cases upon cases for trading or selling online. Same issue with Lawson bottles.

Sip of sunshine is not hard to find in VT. I don't see an issue with sharing the love a bit. Desirable beer is getting harder to get and will continue to do so as craft beer's popularity grows. This will happen even without people jumping state lines to grab some. It's part of craft beer right now and it's not going to get better. No one is entitled to beer. I just get what I can and enjoy it.

A couple things. IF this does go through, dont you think its possible its because Lawsons contract is going to be larger than the current output; therefore, more will reach VT AND CT? yay!
Also, if it is becoming available in another state, you will have less border jumpers and their brothers barging through the high walls of the keep-out beer-state of vermont.
And finally: Its beer. Its good. And with this potential distribution, more people can haz.

    This.

I highly doubt they'd make it available in CT at the expense of VT's production. They'll just make more of it. I don't see what the big deal is, really.

Sip a very good beer to be sure, but being a contract brew at Two Roads doesn't exactly elicit the same level of excitement as if HF were suddenly distro'd locally here. If Sip of Sunshine were available in the fridge TODAY at my local stores in Fairfield I'd probably buy it once or twice for sh*ts and giggles and then go back to my normal purchasing habits. Its not exactly hoarding material.

Well it's true. Lawson's beers are elusive unicorns around here.

If you want to talk about entitled beer geeks, how about those complaining that that Heady Topper can't be had outside of VT (legally)? I just want more Lawsons. That's all.

Sip of Sunshine is elusive? I've been to VT 3 times in the past 4 months and I've found it each time, without trying.

And one of those times, you could buy it by the case. Hell of a unicorn there.

I've had it quite fresh, I believe within 2 weeks old. I think its a really good beer, but with all the other options (particularly with what Nebco offers of the hoppier variety) out here in CT I wouldn't go crazy if it became available in stores.

I don't think that's a fair statement. Go to Vermont and go to Rutland, Ludlow, Brattleboro or ski resorts like Killington, Mt Snow, Stratton and Okemo and let me know how much Sip of Sunshine you come home with.

Where would be the best places to look for SOS this weekend if I'm heading up for the Alchemist sale?

Lawson's is only sold at 3 places: Hunger Mt Co-op in Montpelier, Vermont Beverage Warehouse in Winooski (Burlington area), and Warren General Store.

SoS usually sells slow at Winooski too, so you might get some there. I recommend stopping by Hunger Mt on your way to Waterbury.

There are craft beer wastelands in every state. You can do what you just did with any desirable beer in any state. I don't think SoS needs to hit every corner of VT before expanding some. Maybe that's just me.

Agreed - I'm just saying I can understand why residents in other areas of Vermont would be a little miffed
