Even if AB-Inbev did brew it and it was called Budweiser Bourbon County Stout I'd buy some. Its really that good

Never seen a beer craze quite like this - sold out at every store that I know of, from San Diego to Seattle, within minutes of store opening - wasn't able to land a single bottle. Oh well, like I've always said, the thrill of the chase is sometimes sweeter....

I'm not a fan of any business that crosses the line between protecting one's interest and trying to limit the choices consumers have. That's a fine line and my definition of it is likely different than most. In short, as long as there is sound evidence of it happening and that it is happening in a way I feel to be significant, I'd respond in the same manner.

im not sure if you are even serious. if you are then you will likely regret your decision to pass on them unless you just dont like coffee flavor. id pour a regular BCBS on the ground for some coffee.

Your anger seems to suggest that you're threatened by one-man boycott. I wouldn't sweat it dude, Abinbev is doing fine.

Seriously, if ABinbev didn't exist, you don't think another brewery would just pop up and fill the existing demand for beer? Please.

It's the same argument with people that work at Wal-Mart. "Don't boycott Wal-Mart because I work there!" I get the argument and it makes sense. But look deeper, if Wal-Mart went under there'd be ten stores that would take it's place to meet the demand for products that was already in the community.

I guess some people are on a budget, which makes them face tough decisions about what to buy, but man...this beer is significantly under priced as is. Bad wine costs more. Just get it and save it for a rainy day.

Any chance anyone would trade BCBS for a BCBCS 1:1. I got a whole bunch today but no luck with coffee :slight_frown:

thats generally a 2:1 or 3:2ish trade ratio since coffee is better and tougher to come by.

I managed to get 2 bottles of BCBS. They ran out of Barleywine a few people ahead of me, and the Vanilla went way before I could get any. I did get BCBS and Barleywine on tap as well, so I ended up pretty happy. I only waited in line for 30 minutes.

Got reg, coffee and BW this mohnin', with the reg being the 14.4%. Missed out last year, as I was in Belgium, so I'm glad to have a couple bottles in the fridge.

I live in White Plains, NY. There were several beer stores nearby that got the Stout and Barleywine delivered today which were easy to get (barleywine was 1 per person). I have only found two places within 30 minutes of where I live that received a delivery of the Vanilla/Coffee. One of the places is requiring a minimum of $100 spent on other purchases to 'qualify' to purchase the Vanilla and $25 at least to purchase the Coffee with a limit of one per bottle.

A local bar does have the vanilla/coffee/stout/barleywine on tap tonight though. Even if I don't get bottles of the coffee/vanilla today, at least I'll get to try it and that's all I really care about.

I made a trip to buy some, $24.99 per 4 pack. Left the store with some Chimay Blue... Too expensive for a stout imho.

Reg Bcbs only, kinda tight at that. Last year we got backyard, no variants at all this year. As of noon or so TW hp road had BCBS available 2 bottle limit, TW Battleground is out. Potent Potibles a 5 release 2 bottle limit. Bestway long out.

Managed to get 3 4-packs of regular. 1 in northern VA and the others in Richmond. Glad to get three since I try to send a pack to my Ohio friends who get screwed on the ABV laws. Also had regular on tap and it was amazing as always. No luck on any variants...
