Goose Island Amps Up Bourbon County Brands For Black Friday Release

I've heard they are losing this fight.

 

Super smooth here, everything was orderly and they hooked us up with Intelligentsia coffee, a snifter, and a poster. Really well-organized.

 

Well having to work today ruined my chances. The massive growth in people getting into craft beer makes it damn near impossible to get the rare release now. Hopefully my friends that r new to craft beer landed some bottles. Funny how my friends used to make fun of me for drinking craft beer and now there my only hope at trying this years line of bourbon county.

 

First guy in Chicago got in line at 4 PM YESTERDAY. Tell me that's better then years past. And they are on Craigslist for 100's of dollars. There is more speculation now than ever before.

 

Apparently Costco got it?! Walked out with 4 4-packs at $19.99 each. Not sure if it is just Chicago area stores...

 

Just picked up a couple bottles here in Seattle of the stout. Two bottle limit at bottleworks. $6.50 a bottle. Really wanted coffee and vanilla.

 

Is this for real? Does anyone have legit proof of this? I assume its a joke.

 

Saraveza in Portland OR has one case each (now probably half a case) of the regular and barley wine. 1 each per person, $5

 

$250 will buy a lot of beer. I was there this morning as I receive their weekly email. It stated that, at 11am if they have any bottles, they will sell them if you ask. Today I was told they are 'not selling to the public'. What the fuck. I was there at 10am. I can't say that I won't be back at party source.. But I will exhaust all other options before going there. Danny is the guy that runs the beer dept, he's also the one with the desk in the beer aisle next to Ei8ght ball... That guy is a master troll. He and the other trolls that run the beer dept has seriously disappointed a lot of people today. Hopefully people will wise up and realize $250 is a ton of money to be in a 'club'. Its total bullshit!!

 

Does anyone know where I can obtain any BCBS in the Northern Kentucky, Indiana area? I was totally screwed out of any this year.

 

I'd like to thank Goose Island for saving me $26.99 for a 4-pack of regular and whatever damage the variants would've done my wallet, due to sending a limited enough supply to my area that everything was sold out in a couple hours...

 

3/3 in Fort Collins stores. No lines, no hype. Regular and BW only. Don't understand how it is so much more crazy out there. New to craft beer and wanted to try some of this to see what all the fuss is about. Consider myself lucky?

 

I'm assuming this as well; there haven't been any pictures or concrete proof that these are an actual thing (that I've seen, at least).

 

I'd love it to be sold out in hours. Gone here in about 10 minutes tops

 

checked all the cases I got today and none had gold tops, don't know if theres any truth to this

 

I seriously would go without if I had to go there to get beer. Please do nothing to help them out cash wise the sooner they feel that pinch the quicker it will change.

 

Live in Chicago and couldn't manage even a bottle of coffee. Guess i'm sticking to a cuvee of Coffee Bender, Old Rasputin, & Elijah Craig.

 

Saw tons of bcbs and saw no gold tops did see a king henry though

 

Woohoo, I scored a single bottle of BCBS!

 

I went to the SF Wednesday release, and guess what?? BCBS '14 is a BUST. Had everything except Prop. Something is off this year, and by off I mean: not as good. Was going to spend all of Black Friday hunting down BCBS, BCBCS and BCBW, but cancelled the plan. I may buy a 4-pack if I run across one... Not holding my breath.

Hold on to your '13s people, it's wayyyyy better.
