Not sure what the truth of this is, but I figured we could start somewhere. This is what I've got: 2013 Barlewine: 2014 Barlewine: 2014 Stout: 2013 Coffee: Only 1 gold writing cap, on the 2013 coffee.
This. The people thinking it's anything more are very foolish/gullible and they clearly don't drink lambic either
White lettering on Coffee and Barleywine for me this year. Gold on the Regular. Assuming it is just whatever was around. At best, maybe difference this year indicates 13.8% vs. 14.4% bottles? Mine are 13.8% (and still taste great). Someone trying to start a Pappy rumor yesterday which is doubtful. But hey, if so, FT: 16x Rare ISO: Dave+Don Q
My regular '13 BCBS have gold lettering caps and all of my bottles this year have the white lettering.
Not able to confirm anything at all, but what I heard is that its just a matter of what they had on hand when they bottled different batches.
