20 bucks per bottle in Rhode Island. I decided that the Stone Arrogant Bastard 4 pack was the better deal for a buck more.

Has anyone actually tried this? I passed at that ridiculous price but have to admit I'm curious.

I passed at $22. really I would have passed at $15 though - I'd rather just spend $12ish on a 4 pack FBS or FIS or $22ish for a 4 pack of BCBS which we'll be flooded with this week.

Yep, the price seemed even more ridiculous when a 4 pack of Backwoods Bastards was next to it for 14.99.

It's decent but pretty low on the totem pole for stouts in that price range. I'd take BA Boris over it.

I had mine last night. I enjoyed the beer, but even at 750ml the entry fee is a bit too high. I have another one in the cellar to revisit later, for science.

Bought it in Bethel CT for 18.99 on Saturday. Cellared it for 6 hours to maximize flavors, drank it that night by the fire.

17.99 at M&R in Glastonbury CT yesterday, but I got the second to last bottle in the fridge and im not sure if they had more in the back or not.

Regular Narwhal is one of my favorite stouts recently, so I'm very excited to try it. I almost didnt buy it at $18 for one bottle, but the combination of the hype around it and my good experiences with the base beer made me willing to take the risk.

$20 at Curtis's in Cohasset, MA. I bought because of the hype just to try. Won't buy again no matter how good it is, definitely too expensive. This is how I feel about most of Allagash.
