Miller High Life because of my grandfather. I always keep a case around for when I'm mowing in 90 degree heat. And PBR because I loved that scene in Blue Velvet: "Heineken?!! F**k that sh*t! Pabst! Blue! Ribbon!"

I would have to say, for ease of access to it/price/and flavor, my go to is always Coors or Coors light. It used to be Budweiser or Bud Light before, but I switched over right around the time that InBev bought up Anheuser. It wasn't the entire reason I switched, but I realized that I liked Coors more right around that time too.

I also enjoy a good Michelob Golden. It is very hard to get unless you are in the upper Midwest though, near Michigan and surrounding areas.

My newest favorite though, that would probably easily be my go to if it was readily available in the Midwest, is Yuengling. It is a damn delicious brew.

Oddly enough, I cannot stand PBR. It is one of the few that I literally spit out as soon as I took a swig. I don't know if I got a hold of a bad one or what, but I am not a fan.

*Side note, if you liked Anheuser products but do not want to support InBev in any way, a great one to try out is Kraftig. It was started about 3 years ago by the Busch sons. Very solid AAL.

By definition, Totally Naked is not an AAL. It's an American Pale Lager brewed with all malted barley, no adjuncts.

You know that Michelob is a ABInBev product right?

Coors Banquet, PBR, or Narrangansett are my go-tos. Yuengling is solid, too.

Oh yeah, I know. I didn't stop drinking Budweiser products completely because of InBev, I am not fond of them, but if they have something that tastes good, I will still drink it. Michelob Golden is pretty good though, I think. There was a time when I was in that area traveling for work, and was able to pick it up and bring home quite a bit. That was about 3 years ago now, I haven't had it for quite a while. Every now and then you find it on tap in a bar, I usually partake then.

If St Louis-era Falstaff was still around, I'd probably drink no other AAL. My go-to now is High Life.

Alexander Keiths "IPA" hands down....but if not available or I don't feel like spending the extra on an "Import", then Budweiser or MGD is a good alternative. Keep in mind I'm in Canada and know Keiths isn't readily available in the US, but I suggest trying it if given the chance....my fellow Canadian BA's I think would agree with me on this

Next time i'm in the US, I shall pick up some Hamm's.....it's been on my list for awhile and I'm sure it's available in Montana....plus, I have a vintage light up Hamm's sign that was my grandmas. I always liked it as a kid in her basement bar lol....

lol....my brother doesn't like it either! I guess I find it has a more natural flavor and a drier mouthfeel to it that the main AALs' have here...

Just tried Red Hare Long Day Lager and was impressed at the clean finish on it. Not sure if it would fall under the Adjunct category or not, but seemed to me like a significantly less offensive Budweiser.

    Fooled me

I honestly think "american adjunct lager" shouldn't be it's own style. There are awesome tasting beers in that category that would otherwise be alienated because of what style their listed under. I think "American pale lager" works just fine with or without adjuncts.

Yuengling, if I must, but it is not my favorite style.

I used to love Budweiser, and there's a special place in my heart for Michelob Amberbock, I thought that was the first beer I ever had with flavor.
