Any out of state guys coming down for this? Thought I would post a thread early for any attendees that would like to put together some IP trades before this event. ISO's, FT's, threadshitting, rants/raves, bring it on!

It looks like the wedding I have conflicting with this event may not happen. So I might be able to attend. I live just outside of Omaha, but hope we do get some out of state visitors. Check out this fest, the lineup of breweries is looking good!

Some good breweries indeed including many that aren't normally available here: Stone, Cigar City, Firestone, Crooked Stave, Funkwerks, Victory, Schlafly, Freestate, Blind Tiger, Heretic, and others. It always is a good time and this years is shaping up to be even better.

I'll trade a King Henry for a 6pk of Heartland Wheat.

But seriously, this is going to be a sweet fest! I'm pretty stoked for the lineup. Some trading with out of towners would be nice so hook Nate (Stouttyme) up with some sweet brews so he can share them with me haha!

I've been known to hoard beer on occasion, but hoping this thread will help setup trades for all involved. I'll definitely share the weath if I get some solid stuff lined up, I know the rest of you guys will do the same.

lvoutlawjlh I am excited! Bummed that I have plans for the CWS tonight, but if the kegs lasts for a few hours i will come join my friends. I'm not hopeful, but hey it is a shot! I haven't had luck finding the other kegs. I assume the Moon will get one, but will any be saved for the Great Nebraska Beer Fest or Extreme Beer Fest 2013? Hard to know... Our distributer is too busy pimping Lime-a-rita to give any BCS info out on their facebook page.

antlerwrestler19 I'll bing two 6pks of Heartland Wheat, you bring the King Henry.

General Admission. Jeremy is assuming the forward observer role and giving the rest of us the lay of the land, right Jeremy?

General admission for me too, but I've done plenty of beer fests and 5 hours is more than enough time for me.

Less than a month out from GNBF 2012. Wish more of the breweries (stone, cigar city in particular) would post what they are bringing.

The list is a little overwhelming. So many great breweries with so many beers I want to try. I'm excited!

Definitely several beers posted I'm looking foward to trying. Planning on spending some time at the firestone walker tent (double jack, wookey jack, etc).

I'm considering going to this, and was curious about how developed the transit system is. I might try to see Janes Addiction afterwards, so I may get a room somewhere in Omaha... is it difficult to get from Papillion to Omaha without driving?

Unfortunately, it is somewhat difficult, and though there is a decent bus system, getting transit into the burbs (papillion) is spotty at best. I would just take a cab. And Hauptman Obrien (a local law firm) is offering free cab rides. So if I were you, I would stay downtown and take a cab back.

Another option would be to stay in between such as the Hampton inn in la vista. I think they have a shuttle. Call ahead and see if their hotel shuttle would take you to the desired places.
