will be in town for a wedding next weekend - staying @ 500 N. Michigan - will be stopping at FFF on the way into town and Revolution before heading home on Monday. probably won't have a chance to hit brewpubs / breweries aside from those two, but I'm curious to know if there may be any good bottles shops nearby 500 N Michigan ?

    cheers.

There's a Binny's less than a mile away. https://goo.gl/maps/g6AFW You should be good there. Good luck

I second Binny's on Grand, and would also recommend taking a look at Printer's Row Wine, if you have the time: http://www.printersrowwine.com/ (about 2 miles away).

Ill third for Binnys on Grand. I am visiting from Texas, saw this thread, stopped by the store a few moments ago. Excellent selection of beers. A bunch of FFF, a few Surly beers, even a bunch of Eclipses (I couldnt pull the trigger on those, although I was tempted). I went with a bottle of FFF Alpha Klaus and a bomber of B.O.R.I.S.- both of which I dont get down in Dallas.

Any other locals suggest anything 4-6pack wise that I should check out? The only styles Im not entirely into are wits/belgians.

Check out Half Acre's Heyonka, pretty widely distro'd through the city in 4pks. That and Revolution Anti-Hero in 6pks. Binny's on Grand also has build your own 6pks with one entire rack of Chicago/Illinois beers.

Thanks! I saw that and will probably stop by there before I leave on Friday. Ive tried Antihero and it was great. Also, probably the best thing I tried last time i was up here was Daisy Cutter. So darn good!

If you liked Daisy Cutter then you'll really enjoy Heyonka!

My .02, if you're only hitting one brewery, do HA.

i'd like to hit half acre and eventually will. unfortunately, this trip the brewery / brewpub stops need to include food on the way in and the way out of town. three floyds on the way in and we really liked the revolution brewpub menu and taplist last time around so that's a must hit again.

half acre is a taproom / growler fill only right ? or am i wrong ?

they have a tap room which is like a bar. No food service, but they aren't opposed to you eating food that you have brought/had delivered (from what I understand), and then connected to the tap room is the store where you purchase your carry-out stuff.
