I don't believe SLO County gets Russian River at all.

I don't know what beer distro is like down there, but there's a bunch of good wine to be found in that part of the state.

I recently tried Hippie Kicker from Hollister Brewing Company. Very tasty. Draft only - I'd bring back a growler of that.

Just head up the road to the Firestone tap room. I hear they have a bottle of 13 available for sale

The Cambria ale house often carries Kern beers. Worth the 35 minute drive north from SLO.

Big glasses make it hard to tell whether a chick is hot or not.

Its frustrating, like an ipa you've never had without a bottled on date.

I hit all three of these this week. Picked up a mixed case at Figeroa, tasty IPA and DIPA. FW is always solid, was let down at Hollister, good beer, but nothing I would write home about. Creek side was a pleasant surprise, saw it on a drive-by and stopped for a taster and ended up with a couple of pints and dinner.

Cool. Hollister can be that way, they rotate through a lot of brews, usually they have about 16 on tap, but they have probably 50+ different brews that they make, so it can be hit & miss at times.
