No problem at all. Just wanted to let you know. Let me know if you need to know which specific binnys or anything else. Looking forward to trying the sure bet whether it's 10.99 or 11.99!!!

The website price I don't think is directly connected to their POS system. So if the website reflects the initial projected price that doesn't necessarily mean that wouldn't have changed it in their POS system. Binny's is the best at handling this stuff and after the long holiday maybe we didn't connect exactly how I thought this morning. My fault either way.

Yeah, I got some at Binny's yesterday @ $11.99 but I wasn't going to argue since it wasn't the cashier's fault. I told him they should pool all the extra $$$ they got from anything they sold yesterday and send it to Ditka for acting lessons for their next commercial.

FYI, the cashier was a huge Pipeworks fan and told me all about his new blue t-shirt that matched the label. He said he recommends Pipeworks to as many people as he can, so there are definitely some big supporters out there.

I'm glad I stumbled across this section of the thread. I, too, have been wondering about my order and sent messages to Pipeworks with absolutely no reply or update. I'm order 725, so an update would be great. I understand not having a shipping department, but with the shirts/hoodies printed on/around the 13 of November, I expected to at least hear something by now. Please let me know!

    Ian,

same story as Justin. you sent an inquiry on the 26th and we were off for Thanksgiving. your inquiry was forwarded for response yesterday (our first day back in the office). looks like you also had glassware (also in presale as indicated on our website) attached to your order. the glassware has not been delivered to us yet as the manufacturer is taking their sweet time making it... we didn't anticipate the glassware taking twice as much time as the hoodies to get in stock and that's definitely our miscalculation. we put both in presale so people could save on shipping since it's a flat rate regardless. we're trying our best to accommodate everyone and sometimes that's more than we can handle at our current size. i do agree that an update on the website or Facebook page might have been the best course of action. unfortunately individually e-mailing 200 people who placed presale orders isn't in our capacity at the moment (we'll look into our online sales platform and see if there is a way to e-mail all people who placed orders within a certain amount of time). someday we'll get it together... hopefully you guys still are with us by then!

thanks for being patience... i'll call the glassware company now and get something more concrete.

sorry for the lack of communication,
    -G

    Garret,

Thanks for the reply. I actually received a response from Pipeworks today, so I'm afraid that my post was ill-timed, if not a bit premature. With the holidays upon us, I should have been a little more sensitive to unusual schedules. I also didn't realize glassware was the holdup on the orders, but can certainly understand delays. In any event, thanks for the update and I look forward to getting everything soon.

    Take care!

Yea, we're learning. And I did find a way to update just those that placed orders without having to do a Facebook post, etc. that doesn't directly get to the people needing to be updated. Lesson learned for next time. Webshopping ain't easy.

Cant remember if I already asked this question already, but are the 12oz bottles of BA Jones Dog ok to cellar? Or sketchy because they were hand capped and oxidation may be an issue? Thanks in advance guys.

I really hope they're okay to cellar. I've been sitting on these first batch bottles all along. Last I had was in April and it was still pretty fantastic so I don't foresee it being a problem.

The 12 oz was hand bottled. Doesn't mean it's poorly sealed. Just means a less likely chance it's properly sealed. That's why the new BA offerings are in 22oz bottles. The guys thought it'd be better to use a machine to cap beers that could potentially be aging a while.

I told the guys I sent the jones dog to that it should be drank while its young because of this.

Had a Just Drink it Dummy! the other night (yes the first batch) and it was still delicious. I'm sure it wasn't intended to have sat around this long but it's developed in a really interesting way. Not boozey and malty like I would normally expect from older DIPAs but a lot of coconut and pineapple flavors. Place near me still has some sitting in the cooler and I'm gonna continue picking them up.
