I have only had bottles, but the regular Kentucky Bourbon and the Kentucky Bourbon Stout are both absolutely vile. Yuck.

I think all the stuff from that brewery is terrible except the stout, which is barely tolerable.

I had the same thought. I had this on tap awhile back and really enjoyed it. Almost bought a 4 pack at Giant Eagle yesterday but decided to get some Clown Shoes instead. Glad I did now. Wonder what would explain the difference between draft and bottle?

This sums it up perfectly when it's the only craft beer on tap I drink it

I drank this a lot in college, and I am thankful for it as it really broadened my horizons. However, once I tried other beers is was tough to go back. Any time I've tried to drink in I'm the past couple years, it tastes like cheap beer with decent bourbon mixed in. It's been a while since I have had it in tap, but I remember it having a more natural taste on tap.

On a aide note, since I did love it I tried aging a few. I had one at about two years old recently and it was delicious...from what I can remember.

I had it at my brother's house in Indiana and absolutely loved it. However, it was 5+ years ago and my palette has changed vastly since then. Have no idea if I'd even like it now....

It might be that the bottles are pasterized for the taste differance . Kegs are always kept cold so no need to heat and repete..

It is. Just a bit under the quality of the best bba's, since they mix first and second use barrels, and really should not be mentioned as a comparison to a drain pour
