Yeah, the Huna was just regular. But that was a '14 BVDL that he opened, and hot damn was it pretty amazing.

I figured the FFF was BVDL, but I wasn't sure about the one. I was interested in the Huna b/c it doesn't match any of the pictures in the BA database (I don't think) including the retired Hunas. It looks like the label has three lines of text on it, whereas the Bourbon Barrel Huna only has two lines.

Might be the California Brandy Barrel as the BA picture is not particularly great

    http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/17981/93818/

I assume the picture is just different from the one in the BA database. Or I missed it during my search.

(Yes, this is what I do with my time).

Sadly I've never had any BA Huna, but have heard from numerous people how amazing the DB Huna is. Really sad I missed that at DLD by like 6 people. But oh well. As for the labels, it's sometimes hard to trust the uploaded images. I wish there was more of a standard and uniform way to picture the beer labels on here. I'm a sucker for a good beer label!

So @Clarkson and I set up a trade.. and I can really only tease you guys now, because he asked me not to post the haul I got (not yet at least), but I"m guessing some of these bottles may show up in the #VBS feed over the next few days (or even weeks)... but I can assure you that the box I got was massive. I will post it as soon as he OKs it, but I just wanted to go ahead and give a public shoutout and say Thanks @Clarkson !!

So this is like the old playboys you used to keep under your mattress so your parents didn't find them. Secret **** for your eyes only.

OK, disregard that last post... I think he OK'ed that I post this beast.... I don't have time to rundown every single beer right now since he sent me so many, but I knew he was sending me the 2 JK bottles, Yellow Rose, and the '14 BCBCS... everything else was yea... extra.. this haul is nuts (apologies for the poor photo quality)

Big thanks to @Clarkson! I'm gonna have to prep another box for him I think...

Anyone here big on coffee? At the release event, I got a 12oz. bag of beans (hehe) of the Intelligentsia Zirikana used in this year's BCBCS. I'm perfectly content with my shitty k-cups and figured someone else would enjoy the coffee more than myself.

I got this as in extra in a trade and it made its way to the back of my fridge. It has almost a year on it. Pretty tasty

Knowing @Clarkson you didn't even need to assure me that the box would be massive....I love seeing the porch damage when two awesome BAs like you two do a trade... Sad feels about having to wait!

    Called it...

I wouldn't mind it for using in beers, but I can't claim to be into coffee as a beverage

I am sorta becoming a coffee snob. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my shitty KCups on work days but when I'm off I like a good cup of joe. I recently bought a ChemEx and for as simple as it is the coffee it produces is awesome. It just takes more time than the Keurig does. I would be happy to try your beans. Hehe. I am going to Chicago soon and I plan on trying Intelligentsia while I am there.

VBS for today (pic is on untappd, too lazy to upload it to imgur right now lol)

Moving parts batch 2 from victory. I seemed to be in the minority with batch 1 in that I enjoyed it a lot (way more than the ratings on here give it credit for IMO), but this batch is very underwhelming. Picked up two bombers a couple weeks ago, drank 1 that night, having the other now... opinion hasn't really changed. Not awful for the really cheap price point as far as bombers go, but wouldn't seek this out again if they re-released it fresh (as I would with batch 1)

You can actually use the untappd picture. Go to your checkin on untappd, right click on it and "Copy URL" and use that instead of the imgur/photobucket link.

I thought MP1 was pretty decent, but wasn't great for me; I read the ingredients for MP2 and passed, looked like very boring hop varieties.
