    '12 BCBCS - I am so impressed with how well this has held up. Coffee is subdued but definitely there. Goes to show what proper cellaring can do as well. World-Class!

    You mean to tell me you're drinking a 2012 edition of BCBS while listening to Pat Metheny? Man, you are on top of the world friend. I'm seen him 7 times in my life as the PMG and once from the Secret Story tour. An amazing artist, an amazing beer. Great choice of music.......and beer! Cheers!

    Oh hell yeah, dude. It's beer and music Nirvana for me right now! I've hat only seen him once and that was on his Unity Band tour. I wish I had been fortunate enough to see PMG.

    Good afternoon, BAs! It's been a busy, miserably cold and rainy day here in CT (a day after it snowed, too). Last night was a fantastic beer dinner hosted by the Malted Barley in Westerly, RI, featuring Ithaca Brewing. Great beer, including three I've never had before, and finishing with an Embrr Rye Porter ice cream float (with caramel). My stomach nearly exploded.

    Everything was delicious; pictures posted late last night on #773.

    Speaking of #774: We're up to the hull numbers for Virginia class attack submarines (the 74 boat being the first). Random trivia.

    Today, I'm taking it a bit easy (or, easier, at least), and starting off with a Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait, 2009.

    Quite delicious. I was never impressed with Boon's Gueuzes or Lambics, until the Mariage Parfait series. This, and the Kriek I had last week, were both excellent.

    Just reviewed Ballast Point's - Big Eye (4.48). That's a hellava good IPA that a few will take you on a ride...
