Surprised you didn't notice me...I felt like I was sticking out like a sore thumb since I was about the only one in there without a beard.

Seriously, it was crazy in there yesterday. I was sitting at a table one row from the bar. I got there early and had to leave early to go to a poker game. Later on I was checking untappd and saw that you and Ali both were checking in at Hay Merchant. I know Ali from an IP trade so had I seen the checkins while I was still there I think that I could have found you.

It was really crazy. I got there too late to get a pour of BA Bomb, but a buddy saved me some of his. Fun event, but I really wish Hay was a little bigger. One of these days we're bound to run into each other!

 

I brew a chemex pot every day. It takes a while but so much better than anything else. K cups are ugh...

Nope -- I think the three places I was hoping for got an average of less than a case each, the one I chose to be at on Friday at 10AM didn't get any. And neither did I.

 

1 here as well. There was only one store in the entire city that had bottles to go, as far as I know. A bar here had a case yesterday, but it was for on premise consumption only.

 

The only variant I have seen is BW. Last year it was Dec 6th when I landed a 4 pk of coffee at my local store, and my other two locals got 3 cases of BW between the two of them. Had I know it was going to be so rarer this year, I could have and would have bought more.

Im going to give it another week or so to see if any late shipments arrive and see if the trading dies down a bit and try to trade for vanilla and coffee.

 

Only one vanilla too. I stopped at a teddy's yesterday. They had just gotten their shipment and i saw someone walking out with a vanilla and someone else with a prop, but when i asked, they were the last two bombers... i did pick up another 4 of bcbs, but no múltiples of variants for me.

I would open the vault. Don't have lots of crazy stuff to share until recently. Just got a 14 BA cake set and I won a LIF and got a Block 15 Cherry Imagine. I don't know whether to drink that 1 or trade it

 

If you decide to trade it, I'd love to be your first call. The description on that thing really got my mouth watering. Full disclosure though, there's no way I would give you "fair market value" for that since there are fanboys of theirs that would pay through the nose for it.

edit: also because what the hell is "fair market value" of something that only 2 cases of ever got into anyone's hands....

 

Can always count on you to try to swallow up nearly anything at someone's mere thought of trading it. Unless it's a 1+ week old zombie dust

If it helps I've had my eye on that since the start of the donation LIF from whence he won it. I'm a compulsive ticker so anything that is a one-off or a variant or that for some other reason I won't likely see again really grabs my attention.

I guess it's too much to ask to let me live that down, huh?
