At 11am on Saturday, December 20th we will release a limited supply of 375mL Wild 5 & Wild 6 bottles in our taproom. Price will be $12/bottle, and allocation quantities are still TBD.

Since this is our first bottle release, we thought it best if we invite some of our local friends over to share some of their tasty offerings as well. Chef Marshall McCarty and the good folks from Nobel House will be serving up some choice BBQ, and for those eager early arrivals, our neighbors to the east from Fresh Ground will be on hand pouring their super fresh, locally roasted coffee.

We’ll also be debuting, Spectral, our new imperial stout. It will be draught only, but growlers and howlers will be available for sale as well.

Added bonus - the first folks who make a bottle purchase at the event will also receive a hand-numbered copy of our screen-printed release poster, designed by good friend and Penrose creative partner, Ian Law.

A few more things to keep in mind:
    1. Coming from the city? The Union Pacific West Metra line stops about 0.75 miles from our front door, but remember this train departs from Ogilvie Transportation Center, notUnion Station.
    2. We have plenty of parking, but strongly encourage car-pooling. Partying with friends is cooler anyways, so do it.
    3. We are a cash free establishment – bring those credit and/or debit cards.
Upcoming releases include Wild 7 & 8 in January, Bourbon-barrel aged Spectral + iteration in February, Barrel 21 single barrel wild and Session Brett IPA in March. All release dates/times are still TBD.

Plenty to look forward to, friends – we hope to see you at the taproom soon.

Sounds awesome, Eric! Any indication of bottle count for them? Good luck with the release. I'm gonna try to make it. I'll have 2 kids in tow if I do.

Can we bring grills to your parking lot for sustenance and warmth while we wait overnight?

At least we can look forward to another up and coming sour producing brewery! And even better one that I can drive to in a reasonable amount of time!

I vision the alarm something similar to the old blue light special alarms at K-mart

What's the chances that these last through the day, and not sell out immediately? I'll be driving from MN to the Chicagoland area (for the holidays) and would like to now if I have a chance at getting any later in the day.

It's hard to tell as this is their first major bottle release. But with the rep these guys have and a 300 bottle count, I would guess they'll sell out fairly quickly.

@EHobbz Will 5 and 6 be on tap or bottles only?

Both 5 & 6 will be on tap, so folks can save their bottles for another time.

Do you anticipate it being a one bottle limit of ea. just due to numbers?

So when will the line start for this one? The earliest train from OTC gets in a bit before 10 and they open at 11AM...
