This was also the case I think with ba narwhal. Sitting on the shelf just before thanksgiving.

Funny, that. Had these releases come at another time, I think BA Narwhal and Black Ops would be flying off the shelves. But they're not really.

Brooklyn allocations are based solely on sales volume for the year. Stores that sell EIPA, Lager, Pilsner, and Pennant all year long get plenty of Black Ops. Stores that specialize in more esoteric stuff and don't move the core brands don't get it.

Ba narwhal flew everywhere I looked. Stumbled in whole foods and found it on accident.

Black ops isn't that hard to find and the price makes people question getting it. It's not a run out and get rate beer but it is rather hard to find as a whole.

Well send me all the bottles you 'find'. Working 55+ hours a week keeps me from hunting like I used to.

And, BA Narhwal was at TW Perimeter last week, at least four bottles. I was stunned, but then I heard from my rep that a few accounts didn't buy their full allotments, so some more cases may end up back in distro next week.

Nevermind. I just got a case in store. Didn't even know I was on 'the list'. But I'm still down to drink one any time.

I also stop into Lazy dog each time I drive through for work, and oddly enough the last time I was there I asked about BCBS because they would be on my way back home. They looked at me like what even is that? I told them what it was and they looked intrigued but they had no idea if they were getting any, which I took it as they are not getting any.

But one of the times beforehand I stopped in right after Moohoo chiato was released and I sat down and had a beer or two and was talking to them and I asked if they had any since it was released a few days prior. They said they were going to release it in a few hours but I told them I was jsut driving through and wouldn't be able to stick around. So then one went into the back and grabbed me a bottle of it before I even paid my tab. It's an awesome store/bar/growler station, I recommend everyone going there if they are around the area.

    Just left Decatur Package.

They had Black Ops, Bourbon County Barleywine, BA Narwhal, BA Draft Kilt, Thick and Silky, and Bell's Venus.

    Among other beers, of course.

If anyone is looking for any of those.

Found out that they don't order anything from Bibb Distributing (the AB/InBev distributor) so they didn't get any Bourbon County stuff. Growler Spot got a few cases on the north side and is also worth checking out if you're driving through on 75.

The Stout Brothers is worth checking out in Smyrna, about 10 minutes from marietta square. They have a lot more harder to find beers on tap and a lot of hidden gems in bottles because not many people know about the store. Prairie bomb and xmas bomb, bourbon county stout, Southerly Love, tart of darkness, dude tart, rueze... bunch of stuff.

A good friend just nabbed Nancy up in Winder, but I doubt anyone wants to travel that far. I got every bottle locally I saw so there's little left.

I only got one nancy, but bought up what I could gather for the farm to face.. delicious beer from allagash.

Check OTP for something like that, might still be around.
