I agree. I had it at the Dive last Wednesday night and I thought it was phenomenal. Could definitely use some age to blend the vanilla with the rest of the flavors better.

Anyway, Brooklyn Harvest Market just posted that they have some Vanilla @ $29.99. I wish I could go, but I'm really not feeling well enough to trek out there from midtown on the subway today. I would call first to see how many they have left. Hey, it might already be gone.

 

Does anyone know Manhattan place with Barleywine in stock? Need to pick up a few more for a trade.

 

Carmine Street Beer has it on tap and might have some bottles left.

 

As of last evening Carmine Street did not have any BCBBW in bottles

 

You're kidding. They had them left after Monday's noon and yesterday's 5:00 sale (at 5:15, anyway....). How weird. Weren't they selling the 2013 version, too?

 

Noble Grains on the UES is got BW, Coffee & Reg today...selling at 530pm

 

I was about 15-20 in line last night and they ran out somewhere between me and the front of the line.

I got the BW from them on Monday and it was a 2014.

 

I went to Carmine on Monday around 12:15 and my BW was 2013. Didn't think to look until someone mentioned it in the discussion. Still a good beer so I wasn't upset

 

WF Chelsea had some this morning. I would call though.

Picked up BCBS (limit one 4 pack) and BCBBW (limit 2 bottles) in Brooklyn this afternoon. The guy working was very helpful and told me they are getting Vanilla in tomorrow without me asking about it. PM me if you're interested.

 

I live right around there and I went at 1230 and they were out of coffee only BARLEYWINE left. Oh well. That BA BQE is awesome and the dogpatch strawberry. Can't believe they still had it. I totally slept on going there.

 

Bev store on 21st in astoria charging $60 for mix pack 2 BARLEYWINE 2 Coffee. I said see us later. Not worth it IMO

 

Yepp--I went there on Monday--Complete assholes. Guy was like we are only doing a combo deal --2+2 $60. I laughed and said you know they are $8 bottles right? I left a bunch of other beer on the counter that I planned on buying and walked out.

Last year they charged $11 a bottle for the variants....

 

Yeah I went there couple years back and the had cheap and reasonable prices on bourbon county. Guess dudes trying to cash in on this one delivery. Screw him

 

honestly didn't cross my mind...im an old dog and never flagged anything in my life..
this is BC search stuff is ugly...i plan on a few 4paks of the regs at some pt, hope its still there if not ill move on

 

Glad I didn't drive in. Would have gotten there too late. Although I really want to try the BA BQE, I plan on visiting the brewery this weekend anyway and should be able to get it there.
