Ha, my bad. The email was from the Central Market North Lamar person and not the WF Domain person. So, CM N. Lamar will have it on Monday.

 

So I take it you didn't get vanilla from the 5 places that had it today?

 

I'm so far away that, even if I knew, I'd never get to any place in time. So.....who had Vanilla Rye today?

Figured. I hunt for one beer a year cause it's the first beer I truly loved and it's a constant reminder of why I refuse to for any other beer, just not worth it.

 

Got my Vanilla at WF Katy...tons of butthurt for those that arrived too late. Get there early.

Neither, and I resent the fact you even asked. I was the guy who was first in line by getting there at four. People know I don't mule.

Some bottles were held back for employees as that is their right to do. People were given numbers as they arrived.

I'll hate asking this but how did everyone know Vanilla Rye was being released at Whole Foods? Social media or people make phone calls ahead of time?

 

WF Katy posted it on Taphunter but didn't give a time. Didn't mind spending a couple hours having a beer or two and ended up sharing an Xmas Bomb with 4 people.

 

Just picked up a 4-pack of BCBS (regular) from the HEBS plus in Leander. They have a few left in back

 

Any coffee, vanilla, or regular bcbs sightings around the Austin area?

 

There's an event from 6-8 tomorrow night at Whichcraft, but that's the only thing I've seen lately on BCBS..

 

CM N Lamar had some coffee today as mentioned before. I called this morning to see about when they were getting it and they already had it. They seemed frustrated and cut me off before I even finished the question, so they must have gotten a lot of questions about it already (or every day since t-giving). Limit 1 bottle pp, so I took a pass. It was cheap though, I think <$5 a bottle. I called a couple other HEBs close to me that got BCBS last Monday, but no dice. I'll just be happy with my single this year I guess. I'm more disappointed to miss out on the BW completely.

 

Tru. I had no problem finding Vanilla Rye, but BW has still eluded me. Outside of the stores that had it on Black Friday, I haven't seen any more in Austin. I was sold a 2013 BW, and while I appreciated the vintage, I still am looking for 2014.
