Definitely not downplaying Kroger, a lot of the grocery stores are coming up and it's cool. But a lot of places more on the craft radar didn't get any, which seems backwards. That was my point.

They had a post at 8:30 am on Friday (also had a tweet), but then they must have deleted the FB post a few hours later when they sold out.

So, what Kroger stores in ATL/GA got BCBS? I think someone asked earlier. Just curious to see where these stores are. I would assume it would have to do with the mountains of Bud products that get sold at those venues.

The irony of this whole situation is that the most bud is sold in places that generally would have the least appreciation for something like BCBS. The wonderful miracles of AB-Inbev buying out craft breweries.

Don't worry, I'm sure the filthy macro heathens aren't springing for $24 four packs of a beer they've never heard of. I was pretty happy to find BCBS in a grocery store near me last year, hoping it will pop up again this year too, but no luck so far.

If anyone is still desperate, the ABC on Kennedy in Tampa is filling 32 oz growlers of BCBS... $22 for 1 or $40 for 2

All the Barleywine that hit Atlanta on Black Friday were dated 2013. Leads me to believe that the 2014 model will still hit next week.

Has anyone checked krogers in Nc for BCBS? Also which places in nc got a second wave of BCBS? I thought places sell out on Black Friday and then that's that...?

For those in Palm Beach County, just saw BCBS and BCBW sitting on the shelf at ABC in Jupiter.

I got 2 2013 and 1 2014 in ATL on black friday so not all of it was 2013, but not sure where I got the 2014 from.

Yeah, I spoke with a few people that got 14's somewhere. I'm hearing that there will be quite a few places around town getting their 2014 allocations next week. I guess that would explain why Barleywine was so thin this year.

Total wine here got BCBS and Vanilla Rye today. The Vanilla Rye was at least half a case (if not more). Sadly it sold out before I found out. They got at least 2 cases of regular BCBS.

So I guess we should expect some additional trickling of BCBS and variants

Awesome Jeff, love the shirt! Dig the logo too. FWIW would probably buy a shirt with just that on it.

That makes no sense. Why did they wait?

Barleywine kegs showing up in GA are fresh, so the package mixing seems odd. Maybe a run of old bottles that were never filled? I got a keg of BW dated September 2014 and have heard others say the same. Just have to assume they didn't sit on a pile of last year's beer to sell and mix in with the new batch, that wouldn't make much sense, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have had that much old stock anyway.

The foreshadowed second wave this week, actually more like a mild ripple, has shown us 2014 BW. I pulled all 2013s on Black Friday.
