My hops are doing amazing. Over 30ft tall (no joke) due to the March heatwave.

Yeah, sad to see that as well. The last batch of Solar was suppose to be released at Winter, but it went bad and they dumped it out. Sad. I have a bottle or two in my cellar, but since this winter was kind of lame, I sat on them.

I also heard from a pretty good source that Raspberry Eisbock will be back sometime soon.

Not overly excited about SS, but I may stop by on my way home from work if anyone is around.

Yes it is coming, but has not been brewed yet. Expect something late summer/early fall.

Does anyone know if the "Weizen Bock" is White Devil, or something else?

Kuhnhenn considers White Devil to be an Imperial Witbier as far as I know. Plus on the draft list it says they'll have White Devil and the Weizen Bock with only the latter being in bottles. So I'd wager they are different beers.

Seems like this will be a pretty chill event. Is this something were people normally line up or do they just show up have a few wheat beers and hang out?

Cool, that my plan. Ill wander over there at some point. I dont even know if I like wheat beers really but they all look mighty tasty and it will be a good time to try them.

Our plan is to get there around 1, try a few of the wheats, maybe stick around for some BBQ.

Anyone know if they're allowing BYOB like they do at Winter Solstice? I never really inquired about their general policy on that.

Technically they don't allow it. They were always pretty lax with it, but at Winter Solstice (I believe) a crew from Chicago abused it and took up a table all day, brought their own stuff, and didn't buy any beer. So Kuhnhenn had to squash the practice. I think if you are discreet and don't bring too much, and offer to share with the Kuhnhenns, you'll probably be fine.

Ah, gotcha. I know of a Chicago crew that had much to share, but the table also helped the Kuhnhenns make about $2,500 more dollars that day.
