Hardywood BA GBS Release

Not looking forward to sitting in the rain, but even though we got a lot of GBS in our area (Newport News/VA Beach), I can't see a lot of BA GBS hitting here, so I'll have suck it up. Again, I have nothing to do, so why not?

 

Exactly what I was going to say - that and I would be more than happy to "take care" of all of it!

They had 6,500 bottles available. If be shocked it's sold out already at a 2 bottle limit. Though many were getting back in line. You can always call, but I bet you'll be fine.

There will be some distribution to places that got GBS . Not sure when .

How is it? I drove by at like 2 on Saturday but there was still a line, I was not expecting that.

 

line moved slow as molasses, probably a calculated maneuver in order to keep people there longer drinking pints and buying foods. I would be shocked if they sold all (rumored) 6500 bottles yesterday.

 

I was pretty stoked that this lasted so long. Didn't want to ask any of my friends in RVA to go stand in line on Saturday for it, but strolling in on Sunday and grabbing me a bottle wasn't nearly as big of a favor, so one buddy was glad to do it.

 

Given the reaction to the brewery release, I'd think (hope) that distro should be as plentiful as possible for a limited release. Couldn't get by this weekend, need to hit a few spots and grab a few before it's too late. If anyone wishes (and I'm successful in finding it....) I'll post where I find it and ballpark what's left.

 

No western VA distribution through Brown...rumor I heard is that maybe VA Eagle is picking it up, but that was a maybe...

Didn't make it down if BA GBS, was on Long Island for an xmas party, heard the line was longer than GBS and moved like a snail.

 

BA GBS has found its way to Dominion Wine and Beer in Falls Church. Cheers everyone!!

 

Will be in RVA this weekend and was wondering if any spots will likely have any left by the time I get down here. If anyone wants some CT brews BM me and I'll be happy to do some swapping, especially to land some Bourbon GBS.

 

Out of curiosity, what was the price at the brewery? I want to know how bad the hike up is if any make it down to SOVA.

 

Its usually a dollar or two cheaper in distro than it is at the brewery.
