    Trying to collect some info here. In your local area, how much Vanilla have you seen compared to what you saw of Backyard Rye last year?

    This is obviously "as of right now"

    Around the same supy but there was just a lot more demand for vanilla in my distro.

    South Florida seemed to pick up more Vanilla this year than Backyard.... not an incredible amount more, but more places seemingly got them with up to 2 cases at some locations, and at least one place in the tri-county area picked up a keg.

    I saw more backyard on the shelf THIS YEAR in NYC than Vanilla.

    I went for a bit more. I didnt see any of either but people said backyard was in GR in very small amounts

    We got Backyard late last year so far no Vanilla yet this year.

    No store got more than 1 case of vanilla by me, some got half a case. So 6 to 12 bottles isn't much. There was definitely more of the previous years variants

    Only seen one case of Backyard last year. This year, several stores in the area got a case. And a couple stores got multiple.

    I said "we got a bit more Backyard than Vanilla", by which I mean, we got a small amount of Backyard and no Vanilla.

    What Vanilla distro? Rhode Island didn't get any Vanilla. I was able to score 2 bottles of Backyard Rye last year with a little bit of work. Vanilla is even extremely scarce in the surrounding areas of Mass and Connecticut.

    well, the pattern from the poll is clear. either they kegged a lot more, held a lot more back (or both) or more Vanilla should be coming - I think.

    Ive been trying to get some vanilla and prop without much luck so far. Im hoping at some point I can score some as easy as I did for my backyard.

    Bought a Backyard at a local a few weeks after black Friday last year. None of my 3 semi-locals even received any Vanilla (or any variants for that matter) this year. I did get 2 bottles of regular though.

    It'd be great if that was their intention for their upcoming Migration Week, like that second wave of Barleywine earlier this year.

    In Dallas we got so few bottles of backyard that you had to either wait in line for 2 hours at one store or be a beyond-loyal customer at a second store. I think there were a couple Total Wines that got them out in the 'burbs, but everyone it feels like everyone got Vanilla this year.
