Anyone have any guess or hear anything about the next Jester King fruited sour release? They were pretty consistent for a while there and they haven't had one in some time now, so I'm just speculating there's gatta be one coming soon. I'm just curious if anybody's heard anything through the grapevine or got any guess! Cheers!

I think the people that do know rather not post it as JK likes doing their announcements. With that said, the Evil Twin collaboration is public knowledge and the label can be found easily enough. Go through some of their Twitter/Instagram posts and you will likely see some random things that are in the works.

Probably because he's an actual logical and reasonable person. Wouldn't want any of that in the inner circle.

If you scroll through our Facebook page, you can see photos of some of the fruits we're currently refermenting. The last fruit of the growing season we get in are grapes. As we've posted, we're working with Blanc du Bois and Syrah grapes this year.

Sounds like a dichotomous type beer (again, as noted above, I know nothing)

We shredded the beats, and they're going in the mash. The juice and zest from the citrus are going in the whirlpool.

I wonder what kind of beets were used? I've used regular table beets (reddish/purple) in my smoothies that tasted ok but didn't offer much in the way of sweetness. I've also used sugar beets (whitish/brown) which were noticeably more sweet.

The carbohydrates turn into sugar in a mash through enzymatic activity. That's why grain doesn't taste sweet until after mashing.
