Ahh see but the HYPE has to build a couple days before I can truly maximize my profit! Any good BA should know that!

Lol I understand but I think the hype is high enough for that. Along with the wheat whisper BCBS that I can totally trade 1:1 for izzy and DDG

I'd like to give Mythbusters the 10/12/2007 PVW BCBS conundrum.

Is that not what their fancy name for it was going to be? I thought I read somewhere they were naming it wheat whisper.. I know it uses wheat whiskey but I was under the impression they were fancying it up

Well, I'm sitting on most of my beats because I think it'll age interestingly. Open one every few months just to see what happens.

I wouldn't be too surprised if most of the unopened KHs were being hoarded though, there's no reason to age that beer.

I could probably come close to listing 100. . . from California alone.

FiftyFifty has over a dozen. Bruery has over a dozen. Lost Abbey has over a dozen. Russian River/Alpine/North Coast/Stone/Lagunitas/Alesmith/Sierra Nevada/Drake's have quite a few.

Yeah I know, everyone else hates Drake's barrel program and loves KH. . . it's all good.

Shit, I didn't even mention my mma record or how much I can bench!

Is he 'raising the roof' or putting his hands up like the 'I surrender' sign?

real slowly now: i'm. not. disagreeing. with. that.

i'm saying i disagree with the people who find sucaba to be almost as good as kh. to the point where i am stupefied that anyone thinks they're even close.

No no, you're not understanding how it works.

The discrete entity known as King Henry will never be replicated. Even if they made it exactly to spec with the same barrels it will not be anywhere close to as good because it will be numerically distinct from the real King Henry. IMO it seems highly unlikely that Goose Island would want to recreate a beer that cost people $50 to buy, much less make another barrel aged barleywine in those barrels, THE SIMPLE REASON IS THEY DONT WANT TO TARNISH THE BRAND.

If I got another bottle of King Henry, I would hold onto it as long as possible for the simple reason that nothing can replicate what is inside that bottle, even if you replaced each molar unit like King Theseus's ship, it would not be a REAL King Henry, because that phenomena only occured once, in a vacuum.

Anyone who doesn't trade hard to land what is sure to be a milestone in malt fermentation history, is doing their cellar a disservice IMO.
