...and now that CBS in "un-retired", it's sitting pretty at #11 on the top 250 list...

    Dearest sender,

I've updated my wants for a number of regions in the US, and removed some old wants that I've gotten to try or that I have quantity of in my cellar. If a beer is on my wants and I've had it before, it's still there because it's an awesome brew and you should feel free to send it along even though it's not a new tick. As a guideline for what I've had, feel free to check me out under the same name on Untappd. The same goes for anyone else reading this; I can always use more beer friends! There are also a lot of beers I'd like to try that aren't on my wants, and I trust you to know better than I do what good beers are out there that I might enjoy, so I defer to you and encourage you to get a little creative with what you send -- my "wants" are much more of a guideline than a hard-and-fast list.

Also, I will likely be visiting family between December 22nd and January 4th; please do not have your box land between those dates. Early is fine; late is fine.

    Cheers!
    Josh

As a corollary to the above:

    Dearest target,

Your box will probably go out later in the shipping window. This will enable me to grab some things from PA to add to your box, because they'll be local to me while I travel. I haven't yet figured out what, if anything, these beers will be, but I'm leaving myself the option to figure it out. So far there is 1 750mL bottle set aside for your box that is on your wants, brewery-only, and hilariously enough not local (within a 5-hour drive) to anywhere I've lived. I'll try to do better with the rest of my selections, but you'll be glad I stretched the rules a tad for this one.

    Cheers!
    Josh

As a group we've also already agreed with every thing you said above. Not that I had any doubts, but you'll fit in quite nicely here.

So far, one of my favorite things is that there aren't 5 pages/day to read... otherwise this would get overwhelming fast. I already neglect Secret Squirrel Place and find myself saying "oh, I haven't checked XYZ in a while, I need to get on that!" Speaking of which, I need to check in and see what's happening in the BS2.0 spreadsheet...

I will be hitting a few wants! So excited! Minimum is 150oz or six bottles? Sorry I'm new =(

No worries. For this one we ask for a maximum to be 150oz or 6ish bottles. 150 oz is basically 750ml x 6 which is where the limit was set. Swag (ie t shirt/glassware) is allowed but not required for this one as well. As you have probably learned we BA's have a problem with pushing limits to maximize porch destruction. The 6er was invented to basically get our fix between big rounds.

SSP isn't doing much these days, spreadsheet is looking good though! I updated my entries with much more worthy fare.

There will definitely be days with more than 5 pages/day to read -- but most of it will be pure entertainment value.

Minimum is 6 bottles, MAXIMUM is 150 oz (also theoretically 6 bottles, I guess).

God yes, especially given that I know where 750mL growlers come from  Seriously though, growlers of any size are perfectly fine. As @UcDru said, the Summer/Winter Sixer is basically a BIF round in between "big" rounds specifically designed to keep the impact on the wallet minimal while still making sure something is going on.

The Winter one is a bit less necessary than the Summer one was, as there are a handful of LIFs, a "traditional" BIF (the "Sixterhood"), and people that want to LICC ME (spontaneous 2-person BIFs, like trades without known beers being involved); along with a second "traditional" BIF (the "SixterCAN") starting whenever I have the wherewithal to put an extra box together on top of my other commitments.

He's comparing to SWTFYW where 3 pages is a slow day. In here I don't think we get past that very often, but I'm not ruling it out. He's right that it's a lot to keep up with.

Content hint: You've ticked a small handful of beers from a local brewery, but not one I'm throwing in your box (at least you haven't ticked it on here)

    Time for some pr0n.

Decided to take @Tee2Grn up on hks offer to send a KRE to anyone who wanted to pay for one and send a shipping label. But he went above the offer and sent extras!

On top of the KRE he sent Brewery Vivant-Tart Side of the Moon and Great Lakes-Christmas Ale. Really excited about everything! What a generous and stand-up BA. This will definitely not go unnoticed!
