Fremont now distributed out of state?

Fremont has been sending small shipments to CO through Crooked Stave. First time was for GABF.

Now if only Crooked Stave would send us their beers through Fremont...

Fremont also distributes to a small part of Northern Idaho apparently.

 

I can confirm the northern Idaho bit, assuming that it was distributed legally. I saw some B-Bomb and possibly a few other Fremont beers in a store at the Schweitzer resort (near Sandpoint) this summer.

 

I saw some Interurban and Universale at a beer shop in Boise right after Thanksgiving.

 

When we were waxing BBomb one of the employees mentioned that OR distro isn't a goal, but that they do send some to N ID.

 

While I see your point, try taking solace in the multitude of world-class breweries that you have ready access to that we don't.

 

We either are, or soon will be, getting Crooked Stave. I believe there's a distro deal set up. Can't recall actually seeing a bottle yet though...

 

They're a Shelton brewey, so we could technically get them.

 

I'm trying to remember details, but I'm brain-farting. I seem to recall one of my local bar-owners (who has both brought back, and traded for some CS stuff, and shared bottles with us at his bar) that he was going to be having it with some regularity. I haven't checked his bottle list lately, and it may have been someone else, so until I double-check myself, I'll believe it when I see it.

 

WTF, why not distro to Portland? Not cool. CS is nowhere near the quality of Fremont.

I realize he wouldn't so much beg to differ as much as tell you you're an idiot and let you know he spits out more beer in a week than you drink in a year.

 

I love how his year end list doesn't mention Fremont once. Tons of categories and even more honorable mentions. No Fremont at all.

 

Not sure I'd brag about that, new livers are hard to come by.

 

I've heard rumblings that CS and Fremont are both coming to Vancouver/BC/Canada. But who knows. Floodgates seem to be pretty wide open since Stone arrived here.

 

Happened to run into above mentioned bar owner at a local brewery last night. He wasn't the one that told me, but he did confirm that we should be getting it soon. Up here, it looks Sound Beverage will be carrying them.
